I think the diff is similar just times are so much closer in Elite so the number of positions gained can be great also temps favoured Mich on this race.
As always I feel the pain in the races, lets see if i can hold on.

I think the slipstreaming is making pit times way more important, and blockers even more annoying. Now even if you get past a blocker, he is able to follow u closely and if his pit stops are just a little better then he can easily get back in front. It's much harder to make a gap.

Well Nanni never had the stats to be faster than Leandro's driver but this one was going to be faster according to my plan.
But as of middle of last season, my current driver lost all its competitive advantage against others.
You win some and you lose some with game changes:) The experience bug helped me to get 1 more title last time but now this time, it does not help me.

Eum...Lynch and Uzikowski overtook Hewitt and I didn't? :( I think I am faster than them :( but probably I know the answer: Hewitt started to use slipstreaming speed boost from Uzikovski and until they will escape from Hewitt, I wont be able to overtake? anyway, this isn't very good anyway :DD

yes, this is working now. But it is quite strange: faster guy overtakes slower guy but then slower guy uses the slipstreaming and they both are running at the same speed

Lynch, with your speed shouln't you start in Master?
It is second race in witch you are blocking me. It is really annoying.

oh well, probably that 4th place was best you can get today anyway. So I guess we can assume it worked well. But who knows...maybe you could do better with softs 2x, will not know this.

Probably it is not possible to turn it on and turn it off during the race (99% :P) but at the end the slipstreaming function didn't seem to work~ (probably it worked but just not enough to notice it personally). But I do not mind because this feature is a little bit strange and I did not decide if it is good or not :D
What do others think? Do you like this feature?

LOL, man, calm down. Paul has spent here much more time than you, achieved much more and deserves some respect :).

I think that any new feature that continues to make the managers consider, asses and modify there stratergies can only be good for the game. So far we have only seen two races, which has not resulted in a massive effect on overtaking but maybe it will be different on other tracks , esp Indy.
Its still early days, but I think i prefer changes that give more choice and control to the managers like tyre suppliers for instance, there was alot of complaining when they came in but now they have added many dimensions to the racing stratergy and options.

I think that's pretty fair not to change the game strongly at a time.
On a long term based game, things should be only slighty modified and announced a season before.
On this, the slipstreaming seems to be OK, there is a little change, but that doesn't change everything in everyone's strategy.
Finally, yesterday I was able to overtake Toygun, after 15 laps behind him, and only one lap before my pit ... and just before an heavy random on my Rwing :)

What Klein is doing? Could he qualify so high with 2x soft? Doubt.
Is he using low risks to make 2x pit?
Either way... I am losing enormous amount of time behind him..

He is almost 2 seconds slower than me.

I should be... but somehow I am still behind.
And yes, I am on esofts, however aiming for 2x pits (but it will be a close call again). But still I think I have like 1,5sec speed advantage over him slipsreaming included. On normal ot tracks that should be enough...
