We are just (roughly!) 1.5 hours away from The QRO Season 5 Beagles Cup at the Lausitzring in Germany, the race will start at 11:00 UK time, which is 12:00 CET (GRPO) time. Make sure you are on this thread when the race starts, I can even tell you what times you need to come on to see your questions depending on your strategy if you message and ask me...but everyone must be there at the start, and at for the Racing Edge question, which affects everyone!

The 3rd running of The Beagles Trophy (Not The Beagles Cup...oops!) will take place today at 12:00 GPRO Time, and will be the same as all other QRO Races with two main differences:
Firstly it is a 1 off and so there will be an individual winner and a Constructors Winner also, if you raced in Season 5 for a team then you shall be racing for them here also.
Secondly you will all have a Speed Boost on your cars, capable of giving you up to 5 seconds boost on 3 different occasions in the race, depending on how wisely you use them, simply PM 'Speed Boost' and you will receive 5 seconds bonus if you have enough clear space to use it...this will be affected by anyone in front of you, though even if there is someone in front of you, you may still get the full boost depending on your risks...
Otherwise this will be the last EVER QRO Race in this format for a long while at least, so enjoy it!

QRO Season 5 Biggest OOPS: Lukas Jonaitis for sending an average of about 2-3 answers per question...genius!/Aran Shergill for never once using risks (Ben Sampson for not using risks in his first 3 races, which cost him at least a podium finish!)

QRO SEASON 5 LIFETIME ACHIEVEMENT AWARD: NEIL McEWAN (BODEN EBERY)
The Scot has been a part of QRO for a few seasons now, and has become a part of the fabric of the series...his sportsman-like attitude is clear for all to see in the paddock and on the race track, whilst in the paddock he has always been relaxed and friendly. He is a favourite of the fans, and the other drivers consider him to be one of the nicest guys you could ever hope to race against. In a career lasting only a few seasons he has always tried his best to achieve the best results he could fairly, and 4th in the B League after only half a season there is a clear indication of his quality as a driver. Ladies and gentlemen...The Season 5 Lifetime Achievement Award goes to...NEIL McEWAN!!!

The race starts in about 5 minutes, just to remind you all that you must PM me the answers, anyone writing anything on this thread about the answer to a question, be it an answer, a hint, a sarcastic comment relating to the answer or something that is not the answer e.g. 'Well it's definitely not Jackie Stewart!' will be DSQ'd immediately. No exceptions. Anyone not competing in the race and found doing this will be given a points penalty, consistent abuse of this rule will lead to a DSQ from the Championship itself.
Also please remember that there are now 5 Categories of question for the Pit Stops, these are randomised each race, but the categories are; Drivers, Teams, Circuits, Order and Guess!

4th - Joseph Wood + 3 secs
5th - Ben Gilbert + 4 secs

Parker builds on his A League success and Carter makes it a 1-2 for Arrows in Qualifying...Mann is in close attendance with Wood the highest B League qualifier ahead of Gilbert. Watch for McEwan charging through the field with Stothard making a rare appearance in qualifying, and with at least 4 other drivers under starters orders this one promises to be a cracker!!!

There is a small coming together near the back as Wood and Shergill become entangled and drift off at the 1st corner together, but otherwise everyone gets through without harm and no Safety Car is necessary...incredible in a race with this many competitors! Mann leads from Gilbert and Jilani with A League Champion Parker in about 5th place with some serious work to do...

(Correct Answer - Hill (C) managed to score 69 points to Schumacher's (B) 52, Wenlinger (D) scored 7 points, which was 3 more than Häkkinen (A) managed in an underpowered car.)

Probert makes an error on his entry into the pits, which drops him to the very back behind even Vindin in the Williams...at the sharp end Gilbert has got the gap down from 6 to just 2 seconds as the Belgian really starts to motor around this track! Jilani is looking good in 3rd place, as the battle for 4th is intense between Parker, McEwan, Frost and Carter...

Q - GUESS?: I was the only son of a sheep-owner in Australasia, and went from there to being a member of the Ditton Road Flyers (F1's main social set back in the 1960s). My career was successful despite never winning a race, 3 Fastest Laps and 5 Pole Positions is nothing to be sneered at! My last race in F1 was in 1976, though in my 13 years in the sport I counted myself lucky to survive crashes that many of my compatriots died from. Who am I?

As most drivers pit it is A League Champ ahead of B League Champ, as Parker leads by 8 seconds from Gilbert...the Englishman is yet to stop though, so may yet run into difficulties that prevent him from challenging for the lead...meanwhile drivers are employing their Speed Boosts more freely now, and as such the ones not using it so far (Probert, Parker and Vindin) are all beginning to fall behind in relation to the others pace!
