Wow Craig, Michelini's. That means you don't rely on your driver, car and tactical skills? :)
Then why bother to go towards elite?

I have full faith in my driver Maarten, he gave me some very good performances on Dunnolops and I know he could give me those performances again, if I had chosen them. At the end of last season I did wan to get rid of him for somebody who was better, cheaper and younger at the end of last season but my bid wasn't accepted so I had a decision to make. The decision was to keep him for one last season, as this is his last season with me I won't be training him a lot, if at all.
My tactical skills are ok, lacking of concentration at times which lead to painful mistakes, but I am changing that.
I probably won't be competitive in elite next season, but I plan to build and be competitive the next time I go there. Who knows I might even make it my last season.

With Dunlops he would be somewhere near 10 other managers. And now he is ahead of them. And that nearly pays the difference between D and M. And in long term he will benefit from faster sponsor progress, from bigger end season bonus, for points money etc~
And if he can afford that..why not?

Its a huge gamble he is taking but if it pays off its great.
Last season Chris was able to maintain his ballance by averaging 8th place all season so Craig is going to need avg 6th or better
Early random would mess him up totally
I shall keep my eye on M4 this season so with that in mind good luck everyone

I don't need to promote this season because my driver is short term but it will be fun to try. I do hope to finish in any of the top 4 spots though.

I'm slightly disappointed by 19th on the grid...was expecting ~15th so perhaps master's moved on a bit since last I was here :-)
Not even thinking about points tonight though...drive OA to think about this race, so good luck to those of you trying. :)
