Sigh.
What was the race time when Jasper finished?
Was it longer than 2hrs?
If not - then we didn't get to the end of the 4th quarter.
Try thinking things through properly

Doesn't the 4th period end when Jasper crosses the line?
|
|
|
No - it ends at 2hrs (or even after that if we are racing at Indy Oval)

Quote ( Atli Thor Johannesson @ April 28th 2020,21:44:36 ) How do you explain this race Robin? 0% chance of rain in the last quarter,, still it rained through. I have no problem with it at all though. Definetely a bug. Rerun now. @scandal

I know, I was thinking the exact same thing.

we've had it before where rain from a prior quarter continues on. sometimes for bloody ages!

|

Well zero means zero, many people lost the races im this last quarter

|

Same as the race in S41 an exact copy of it

It actually means zero BY THE END of the 4th quarter :)
Jesus, how many times is this conversation held on this subject, usually it's Robin I see repeating it over and over :p

Not the same; similar.

Please register my protest about this. Makes absolutely no sense. 0% is 0%, no matter how you look at it. It's a shame and doesn't motivate managers to keep playing. Randoms are disappointing enough but understandable, this isn't.

|

lol.
1 hour 34 minutes by the way. So was literally extremely unlikely it stopping anyway. Most races hardly ever go too far into the 4th quarter, if at all, as I recall, except the likes of Spa and Bremgarten when its wet.

The protest is with yourself to understand what is meant by 0%
Does it start raining immediately when race says dry at start but with 95-99% rain chance? No. The weather is not a tap that comes on and off at the exact time that is FORECAST. That being the prime word :)

0% ≠ rain will stop instantly in the 30min section. That is ridiculous.

Rain Probability 0% rain probability means you can be sure that it won't start raining during the period. If it is already raining, you can be sure that it will stop raining during the period, but you don't know when it will happen (it can stop after one minute or after 29 minutes).

That's true. I agree.

It surely must be frustrating not understanding the game nor the weather dynamics ... :)

The same place you find it when you see the weather report in the morning and it tells you that its going to be a nice sunny day. So, you go out with your shorts and leave your raincoat behind. Then it rains while you're out. From time to time, this happens. :)
