Ant Cross I'm sorry for that broken brakes, the truth is that both you and Jimmy Severini deserved to win the race. For my part, I miscalculated the pits and that wheel dance and a bad race pace (I was losing around 0.2 seconds per lap compared to you) meant that I couldn't compete until the end for the victory.

Congratulations @Jimmy Severini (A52) on 1st. Finally someone has beaten Gerardo! All three on the podium were doing the same 2 stopper. You were 2nd on the grid but jumped straight to the lead in that opening lap, leading for the next 21 laps until you pitted for your first stop. Ant was always right on your bumper and around the midway mark he got around you. It always looked like 2nd for you from there, until smoke started pouring from Ant's car with just 6 laps to go. You passed him 4 laps from home, beating Gerardo by 10s.

Congratulations @Gerardo Rodriguez (A52) on 2nd. Gerardo you did so much wrong here but yet still walked away with a solid 2nd, just shows how good your package is. You had pole but lost that in the opening lap. You then dropped down to 3rd on lap 15 when Ant got around you. The top 2 were pulling away but you were always doing better than those behind you. It looked like 3rd was where you would finish, but then you also passed Ant's smoking car on the final lap.

Congratulations @Ant Cross (A52) on 3rd. Very unlucky! You were only 6th on the grid but you jumped to 3rd in the opening lap. You quickly got around Gerardo and then you and Jimmy were having an enthralling battle. Finally on lap 34 you found a way to get around him. Once in front you were slowly able to eke out a margin with every lap. With just 6 laps to go, that lead had stretched to 4.5s. But then the smoke came. Cruelly robbed not only of the win, but 2nd place as well

Well done to all the others that scored points.

WIN: Jimmy Severini (first win of the season)
POLE: Gerardo Rodriguez (fourth pole of the season)
FASTEST LAP: Jorge Quijada Figueredo (first one this season)
BEST PIT STOP: Me (first one this season)
BEST OVERTAKER: Daniel Roque and Simone Blasi (both gained 11 places during the race)

We had 11 on the same 3 stopper as I. Just the 4 on the 1 stop, 15 were on 2 stops, and 2 on 4 stops or more. I had to go with the 3 stops on ES because the TCD was large, just over 0.5s per lap. I was 25th on the grid and passed 8 cars in that opening lap. My car was fast, with my lap times appearing often in the top 10. I did get as high as 14 on lap 14 and again on lap 50, but in the end I was always doing at least 1 stop more than my competitors. Still a terrific result and my driver gains a little bit more driver motivation.

Congratulations @Ant Cross (A52) on 1st. It could so easily be 2 wins from our last 2 races, but you are really hitting your straps now. You were 4th on the grid but was up to 2nd after that opening lap. You looked faster than Gerardo, and was looking at ways to get around him, but then Jimmy snuck up behind you and you dropped back to 3rd. It was tight between the top 3 with less than a second separating you all, but just before the 3 of you did your first stop, you had hit the lead. Once there you started opening up a small margin in every lap, and ended up winning by nearly 10s back to Gerardo. For the first time this season, you are inside that promotion zone.

Congratulations @Gerardo Rodriguez (A52) on 2nd. Yet again another honest race by you. Your last 2 races have not been as strong as your earlier races, but you still have such a massive lead at the top, I wouldn't be surprised if you have reduced your CT risk right back. You have never finished any lower than 2nd in our 7 races this season. I think even if you finished just 4th in each of our remaining races, you would still win this Group Championship. You still have a large 31 point gap back to Jimmy, although I think Ant will be your biggest threat this season.

Congratulations @Jorge Quijada Figueredo (A52) on 3rd. An up and down season for you so far but this was easily your best race of the season. You were only 12th on the grid but a strong start had you up to 6th in the opening lap. You were on the same 2 stopper as the 2 above and was up to 3rd before your first stop. From there though it never looked like you would improve on that, but you never looked like losing that spot either. In the end you finished the race 22s behind Gerardo, but 15s ahead of Richard. You relegated from Pro last season because you were in the red, and I see you are still in the red now?

Well done to all the others that scored points.

WIN: Ant Cross (first win of the season)
POLE: Gerardo Rodriguez (fifth pole of the season)
FASTEST LAP: Jorge Quijada Figueredo (second one this season)
BEST PIT STOP: Miguel Mateus (first one this season)
BEST OVERTAKER: Alex Schmidt (gained 11 places during the race)

I was on the popular 2 stopper along with 25 others. Just the 4 on 1 stop and the 3 on 3 stops. I was on the harder medium tyre with my 2 stop, I know others were on the softer compound. I saw their tyres wobbling badly after each stint, whereas I was boosting, that gained me many spots in this race. I was only 28th on the grid, racing with 20CT but after 14 laps I had only gained 1 place. I then started moving forward and got to 22nd until a massive DM cost me 6 places. I had to fight back again and the further the race went, the more guys I passed. I got to 19th with 2 laps to go and I'm stoked to finish that high. I had a poor car match and really not expecting to do well

Ant will be your biggest threat this season.
I've always thought I'd have a strong 2nd half of the season so agree that I may push Gerardo although believe he is too far ahead to seriously push him - especially as I will need to look at building my cash up to have a chance of retaining at Pro.
Although I think I will be in better shape than when I previously achieved promotion.

Congratulations @Richard Wagner (A52) on 1st. Your second podium this season but this time you walk away with an awesome win. You had pole and the fastest lap, but this was never easy. For the whole race you had Jimmy breathing down your neck. You were both on the same 2 stopper but the biggest factor here was your tyres were lasting longer. Jimmy just had too many wobbly laps, and that cost him the win here. Richard you probably deserved the win because you were able to lead for 40 of the 56 laps.

Congratulations @Jimmy Severini (A52) on 2nd. Well, you never gave up. You were 3rd on the grid but virtually straight away you had latched onto Richard's bumper. I think in many cases you appeared a little quicker in areas out on the track but you just could never get in front of him. I think if you did pass him, you might have been able to open up a little buffer and that would have compensated for your wobbly tyres. It was certainly a battle of the heavy weights as you are both destined to promote, and it was great viewing

Congratulations @Gerardo Rodriguez (A52) on 3rd. Gerardo you just tried something different here with your 1 stopper. Despite the heavy fuel load, you were able to qualify 4th, but then ran 5th for most of that first half. You did hit the lead once the 2 stoppers pitted for their first stop, leading for the next 9 laps until you pitted for your only stop. You came back out in 4th but that quickly became 6th after a dreadful DM. You finally got back to 3rd with 16 laps to go, but the top 2 were nowhere in sight. A comfortable 3rd in the end, finishing 21s behind Jimmy but 18s ahead of Ant's smoking car

Well done to all the others that scored points.

WIN: Richard Wagner (first win of the season)
POLE: Richard Wagner (first pole of the season)
FASTEST LAP: Richard Wagner (second one this season)
BEST PIT STOP: Daniel Roque (first one this season)
BEST OVERTAKER: Simone Blasi and Alex Schmidt (both gained 12 places during the race)

I was on the 2 stopper along with 18 others. We had 10 on the 1 stop and just the 2 on 3 stops or more. Another good result by my driver. He is still the third worst driver in this group on the OA list. I should be only beating 2 home but here I was able to beat 14 home. I never expected to be finishing in the top 20 yet, but yet I have done that in the last 4 races. I am not promoting to Pro until S98, but everything is pointing in the right direction for this young driver

So here we are at the halfway mark and it looks like we have our top 4 for promotion. Gerardo, Jimmy, Richard and Ant, are the managers currently in the promotion zone and I can't see that changing much. Money could be an issue though with 2nd - 5th all with less than 20M

Jánosné sits in 5th and is tied with Ant in 4th but it does appear she is pulling back a little.

I do think that if all 5 pushed for promotion then all 5 could still get it - 24pts currently gets you promoted through the additional list - so think that we could see 5 promoted from this group.

Congratulations @Marián Herc (A52) on 1st. Nice to see a fresh face at the top. You chose the 1 stopper and was 8th on the grid. After just 2 laps you were 4th and getting closer to the lead. You hit the head on lap 25 and led for the next 6 laps before doing your only stop. You returned to the track in 5th and had to do it all again. Ten laps from home you found the lead and that is where you finished, winning the race by 8.6s. Your 4th season in this group and your first win during that period. You storm up the ladder to 6th and I wonder, could we have a new promo contender?

Congratulations @Pedro Francisco Martín (A52) on 2nd. It's been a tough season, just the 2 points before this race. Only 12th on the grid but a blistering start had you up to 2nd after just 10 laps. You were though on the 2 stopper and when you pitted for your first stop, you found yourself back to 9th. You had a fast car though here today and forced your way through the traffic to find the lead. You led for the next 7 laps until you pitted for your final stop. You were back to 4th but got back to 2nd 10 laps from home. Easily your best race of the season.

Congratulations @Jimmy Severini (A52) on 3rd. Yet again another honest race and now the only driver to finish in the points every race this season. You were on the same 1 stopper as Marián, and 1 spot higher on the grid than him. The 2 of you had a great race with you able to stay in front of him for the first 21 laps. But after that the tables changed, and once Marián was in the front he was able to pull away. You finished the race 10s behind Pedro but 8s ahead of Ant to collect yet another podium. You now have 5 podiums from our 9 races

Well done to all the others that scored points.

WIN: Marián Herc (first win of the season)
POLE: Gerardo Rodriguez (sixth pole of the season)
FASTEST LAP: Marián Herc (first one this season)
BEST PIT STOP: Donatello Rabissoni (second one this season)
BEST OVERTAKER: Pedro Francisco Martín, Simone Blasi and Csaba Gyürke (all gained 10 places during the race)

Well how bad was that, just an absolute shocker. I knew this race would not be good. It is one of my worst matches of the season and plus throw in a 1 stopper, and I was so slow early. I was able to achieve the slowest lap time twice in those early laps, and stuck behind our cellar dweller Bruno for those first 17 laps, just unable to pass him. Eventually the 2 stoppers started to pit in front of me and my delayed one stop allowed me to get as high as 15th before pitting. I came back out in 29th and showed better speed in the back half because I was in clear air. But not much to write home about here. The car and crew are already halfway to Singapore already for our next race

Hello everyone. Race to forget, I had a random (front wing) on lap 7 that relegated me from position 4 to 34, gradually rising to the final position 11. One day it's up to some and another day to others, this time it was random and we have to accept it. Congratulations @Ant Cross (A52) on 1st. Only 8th on the grid on dry tyres and in very wet conditions. You did drop back to 9th before the rain stopped but then it was, GET OUT MY WAY I'M COMING THROUGH. Just 3 laps later you were leading the race and pulling away. Apart from a total of 5 laps straight after your next 2 stops, you led the whole race. No-one could get any close to your speed here today and you cruised over the line for a very easy 26s win. And as predicted you do indeed have this driver for another 17 races, and you're really are matching Gerardo and Jimmy now. Maybe this Championship battle is not over yet!!

Congratulations @Jimmy Severini (A52) on 2nd. Once again you just continue your stellar season and yet another race in the points. You too were on the dry tyres and one spot higher on the grid in 7th, than Ant. But your driver just could not handle the conditions and you were back to 13th before the rain stopped. You made good improvement after that and finally got to 2nd on lap 24 but you were already 17s behind Ant. Ant was gone but you easily accounted for Gerardo who finished the race 27s behind you. So now you have 6 podiums from our 10 races, but just the 1 win

Congratulations @Gerardo Rodriguez (A52) on 3rd. You too were on the dry tyres at the start but a lot higher on the grid than those above. You were 2nd on the grid but did drop back to 4th before the rain stopped and then quickly hit the lead until Ant came barging through. You then dropped back to 3rd after that first round of stops when Jimmy got around you. In the end you just hung on to 3rd ahead of the fast finishing Richard. I just feel Gerardo you have pulled your risks right back and just doing enough to hopefully still finish on top after race 17. Well why not. Every extra dollar you can take to Pro with you the better.

Well done to all the others that scored points.

WIN: Ant Cross (second win of the season)
POLE: Jánosné Tóth (second pole of the season)
FASTEST LAP: Ant Cross (second one this season)
BEST PIT STOP: Me (second one this season)
BEST OVERTAKER: Roy Antonsen (gained 9 places during the race)

A lottery at the start but we just had the 7 drivers starting on the wet in the rain. It was a disastrous start for them with the rain stopping after just 3 laps. Luckily for me I had chosen the dry tyre to start the race. My best grid spot of the season of 16th but did slip back to 21st before the rain stopped. I had good pace though and was able to get as high as 10th a few times during the race.

I never expected the rain to stop so soon in that first stint I was forced to come in a lap earlier then planned. That carried over to my middle stint and then finally the final stint. I was forced to pit on the final lap when I was sitting 12th. That cost me 6 places and I finished 18th. Very disappointing to end what would have been a great race for me.

Congratulations @Ant Cross (A52) on 1st. Well another awesome display by your driver again here today. You chose to start with the wet tyres in the dry conditions. You were 2nd on the grid but had only dropped back to 3rd before the rain started. The very next lap you were leading the race and opening a bigger gap with every lap back to Gerardo. No-one could match your pace and the only question was how big your winning margin was going to be. You cruised over the line with your arm out the window for a very easy 30s win.

Congratulations @Gerardo Rodriguez (A52) on 2nd. You had pole and was on the same strategy as Ant but had dropped back to 5th before the rain started. But the following lap you were back right behind Ant in 2nd. You were only 1.5s behind Ant at this stage but that would be as close as you would get. Yes Ant does have a stronger car but that is now showing in his finances. I probably prefer where you sit with your money and car level. All you have to do is just finish on the podium in all of these remaining races, and you will still win this Group Championship. It's not all about winning races.

Congratulations Me (A52) on 3rd. WOW, did not expect points here let alone a podium. Just the 8 out of 34 managers tried the dry tyres at the start, that prove disastrous for them as we just had the 2 wet laps. Luckily for me I was on the wets and my best grid spot this season of 17th. My driver just loves the rain, so a small push here with 20CT. I only dropped back the 1 stop before the rain started, and just 3 laps later I was up to 8th. I always planned an early stop because of the wear on the wet tyres in the dry. I was in 7th place when I did my only stop, coming back out in 10th. Cars in front were wobbly badly and 12 laps later I was up to 4th. I quickly closed in on Richard but just could not get around him. Finally with just 4 laps to go I was able to get around him with some very handily timed boost laps. My first podium in 53 races :D

Indeed, dear Dean, now we have to balance the car with the bank account and we have to balance to think about not suffering too much in the next season, which barring a catastrophe, will be in Pro (I hope so). Then there is something that surprises me and it is the last two classifications in Ant, too much difference in Q1 and Q2 for what happens later in the race.

Thanks guys, I always had the belief that I was going to have a strong 2nd half of the season, I am hoping to promote with a competitive setup to give me a fighting chance of retaining at pro - I expect to promote with just over 30Mil before prize money - but my car and driver should be in a good state for the 1st 10 races - hopefully I can score a couple of points then work on extending my drivers contract or signing a new one - and build my cash up. My car also currently has level 6 parts (have 48 car character points from testing).

Your classifications in Q1 and Q2 continue to surprise me, Ant. They do not correspond to your pace in the race.

I do not understand it either - especially as my CTR has been - 10/20. So it is not like I am pushing hard during the races with my recent pace you wouldn't be mistaken to think I've been pushing with 40ish CTR

I just wonder if we haven't a got a little twist in the tale yet of those promoting. We have Richard and Jimmy, both with less than 10M in the bank. Is it really worth promoting with so little money. I think if you did there is only one direction you would go!
