when you change tyres (rain to dry or dry to rain) you will put in fuel that you entered for pit 1, pit2,...
changing tyres = pitstop ... fun isn't it :)

ok but it's very stupid. Becouse in 21 or in 22 lap i wnet to pit for fuel and only in next lap i changed my tyres. So what it means what i lost my 2 pit for tyres?? So if i understand good for example in 1 pit i get my fuel and in 2 pit witch was for tyres i lost my fuel. It's insane. I don't know how to write in english but this is stupid thing:((((

So and if i understand good in strategy was only 2 ways. 1: Than tyres are changing so charge also the fuel. So in my situation after that i would go with 180l. O do more pitstops to not lose fuel. Sorry maybe i am to isteric but this situation is *********

No matter what is the reason for pit your crew will refill fuel to number you specified for this pit stop unless you have more fuel in tank thatn you specified for this stop. No matter that pit stop was caused becouse of weather, tchnical problems, tyres or lack of fuel it still counts normally for numbers of fuel you specified for each lap. I made mistakes also and so I still didin't get my first podium.

You put in boxes numbers of fuel you want to refill to and not how much more fuel you wish to add to tank.

you need to understand that the crew does not add the amount you say, they add UP TO those words are important.
if you have 80L in fueltank and are pitting and you write add to 90 they will add 10Liters......

Stop 1:
(Lap 22)
No more fuel was left
38% 0% 90 liters 41.865s
Stop 2:
(Lap 23)
Tyres change due to the weather change
90% 47% 90 liters 40.490s

so why in my tank wasn't 180l?? Maybe i stupid but i can't understand where 90l gone???

pls read answer 14 and 15 or read this:
Lap 23 you have 47% fuel left = 84.6Liter you ask them to fill UP TO 90 liters please understand this time
so you see you are adding 5.4 liters at 23L stop.

if i not talking bulshit i know that bolid tank we can fill up to 180l after 21 lap in my tank were was no fuel left so in 22 lap my crew fill up 90l and in 23too. So it's 180l. But after that pits i continued race only with 90l. so it's normal?????

Try to understand, they _do not_ fill in 90l, only 5,4l just like Håkan said. They fill the tank UP TO 90 litres.

talk about mission impossible... i give up he does not want to understand. if you want the tank filled UP TO 180L you have to write Fill up to 180 Liters it does not matter if you stop every single lap and ask to fill up to 90Liters you will then never have more than 90 liters even if the race is 2000 laps long...Enough.

if you stop every single lap and ask to fill up to 90Liters you will then never have more than 90 liters even if the race is 2000 laps long...Enough.

If u have started with 5 liters more, then everything will be alright :)

and see what u have write here:

This has to be changed. I put the fuel in to get to the end of the race, not the amount to top it up to, that's just stupid. This does not make sense and you cannot plan for this at all, even if I tell the pit crew not to fill my fuel that stop still counts?

I beg to differ

It is indeed possible to plan for things.

The system works great and I think that's the opinion of 99% of people here.

Races where it rains intermittently, require more planning to take into account the several different options, but the system is still working.

I think there may be an issue with the fuel, but not like what he has been saying. I'll post it here after the race after I see if I didnt cock it up... I probably have but there's a heads up!

Edit:
There is a bug with the refueling!!!!!!!

In fairness, I cocked up my fuel stratergy along with my "come in if it's raining stratergy" aswell. This was my fuel stratergy to start:

Start: xxx litres (x's mean digits)
Pit 1: x litres
Pit 2: xxx litres
Pit 3: xx litres
Pit 4: 1 litres
Pit 5: 1 litres.

Guess how many stops I've made? It's currently lap 62, and I've made my 12th yes, 12th pitstop. Now I know in GPRO you can't run out of fuel, and that if you mark a pit thing with 0, it'll take the pit before it's amount, or fill it to the top. But how the hell are you supposed to race, if after your 6th stop (because of changing tyres and what not, which meant if the fuel tank was full, it wouldnt take the full amount, so you loose out on litres I'd imagine), it just keeps filling it with 1l, which means that you don't actually go out to race, but you just spend the next 15 laps getting fueled with 1l! That has to be a bug!
