Should there be a two tear levels for Rookie's ? Lets say the top ten in the entry level would be promoted to upper level in rookie ?

Because amateur is considered as upper rookie tier.
End of.

Please explain why we would need two Rookie levels. I don't see why we would need that.

I have known a lot of newbie managers who had played this game for a short time, then left because the well established rookie managers are light years ahead of them. Just want to see what Rookie Managers think !

No, this amounts to little more than just adding another level overall and that is the third circle of gpro admin coding Hell (I suspect)

how much easier do you want the GPRO admins to make it? established rookies usually promote within two seasons i think? thus making it easier for the rest that are left behind....or atleast it should be if they have half a clue by then.

Are there really any "well established rookie managers"?? Shouldn't they already have left rookie once they're established themselves so well? ;)

I maintain that anyone can promote from rookie by doing a few hours of research at the beginnings of their career. If they're not willing to do that they don't deserve to promote really.

i take it the people who voted yes here are the type of loons who crashed out after two laps in every race and still wondered why 17 races later.

i voted no.reason..soft reset is available for rookie as well as end of season reset..why have two tiers? reset puts you on a level playing field and if you pay attention you should have a grasp on what is needed to promote soon enough.

I agree there is no need for a new rookie tier, however what could be interesting is rookie groups for people who do not want to promote, that will always reset at the end of the season.
They would play according to that and would not get in the way of those who are playing long term.

I propose a new designation called "Novice" to be less than Amateur but above Rookie.
Rookie should be reserved for those who have never left Rookie, a better alternative to learn the ropes on a more level playing field.

Yes, and Novice is where resting am-elite drivers go, I think it is unacceptable for elite drivers to be thrashing newbies in rookie! It's simply unfair to expect a (non-DA) rookie to compete!
How about dumping people who've gotten to pro or higher into Amateur with 45mil when they reset...
On second thoughts. Just no from me.
Edit;
Actually, if you were to designate 'x' amount of rookie groups specifically for newbies for their first season, on promotion they go to amateur, and on relegation or reset, they go into the non-designated rookie groups...
Yes, I have always said resetters should go no further than Am, this is the same really, only allows more managers to play or smaller groups
I like Richard's version of this.

Join my new series if you're interested in this idea. upper rookies.

i think the existing system works just fine
we don't need different tiers. those who are deserving and have researched will promote easily while those who are lazy can just stay here in rookie
