If Mercedes can produce something close to a race winning car for 2012, then I'd like to see him for at least one more season. Knowing he'll have a better car could see him find 'something' deep down that he clearly hasn't got right now. Whether it's motivation based or not, I don't know. Putting him in a better car could answer a lot of questions.

Yes. He's talented but his deliberate takeouts of Hill, Villeneuve and almost Barrichello etc. Plus his stupidly overagressive defending like with Rosberg in Abu Dhabi and Hamilton in Monza. Plus he is arrogant. Go now and run away Michael!

To agressive thats how You might aswell say that about Hamilton... However you do need to be agressive to win sometimes

I think that he deserved one more chance. This car is to slow and if Mercedes don't made competitive car next year then he must to leave.

If he enjoys driving more than not driving (which I assume he does) and someone is willing to give him a seat then he should stay in F1.

No, no, no. Don't let him retire! He should race untill he's 50 at least :)
Watching him crash every second race is great - you can't write comedy like this :P
And keep Barrichello too if possible. It's like watching a sequel of Grumpy Old Men :)

I agree with Tom, never been a Schumcacher fan, but i'm curious to see what he can do in a competitive car, as well i want him to show off to all the Ferrari moaners that now talk crap about him, after he gave so much to the team.

If he is still good enough to get a contract then he is good enough to drive. I would love to see him on the podium again.
I used to be a Schumi hater, but now i very much love him. Where as in his first career i hated it when he bent the rules a little now it happens and I think. 'Awww its only Schumi. Let him off' ;)

all he needs is a better car And a different mind set, as he clearly isnt as focused as he once was.

Plus he is arrogant He can afford to be, 7 times world champ probably gives him every right to be. although having said that, I personally dont think he is that arrogant.

Schumacher needs a better car. He lost his 2nd and 3rd place in Montreal only beause Button and Webber had a lot stronger cars. If Schumacher gets a very good car, like Ferrari or McLaren, he may be able to rack up podiums.

partly yes but I think his accidents are more connected to the fact that he is 7 times F1 champion and almost everybody on the track finds extra motivation to overtake or block Schumacher. It is an honor to fight and win over 7 times champion. And Msh probably finds this totally opposite. It is dishonor to be overtake by some 22 yo. driver etc.
And I still would like to see him next season.

Firstly, the poll result says everything.
Secondly, if he retires now, this would mean he does not want to fight. He staying itself means a lot to Schumi fans like me. :)
People who feel he is very agressive, need to watch some other sport.
His image can not be damaged so soon, it has been built over a very LONG period of time 3-4 seasons wont do any damage at all, I am sure he must have gained few more fans this season. :)
