You can say whatever you want but I will still believe Frank Schleck didn't use drugs.
Think about it, Bruynell didn't want them to leave (They wanted to create a new team), because aswell Cancellara and Voigt would go with them, so what did he do, he "drugged" Frank, stopping him from leaving the team, wich makes Andy stay, stopping them from creating the team, stopping Cancellara and Voigt from going. Bruynell by doing this, keeps them all.

They. All. Take. Drugs.

I'm a Cavendish fan, so also hoping that he wins quite a few stages this year. Also got my fingers crossed for Froome in the TdF and Wiggo in the Giro.
Anyone do long distance here? I've done a few big rides, so looking for fellow Cycling mad people!
I've done some rides over 100km.
Hoping that Eddy 'The Boss' Boasson Hagen is taking a podium in Australia and get a copple of top 10 placements in the spring classics. Otherwise it's just wait and see what else is coming up in the meanwhile.

Cool, the biggest I've done so far is 300m in 3 days. The first day I cycled from Cardiff to Oxford, my route was about 120 miles. I really want to do lands end to john o groats but don't have the time to train. :(

Great sprint by Greipel today, nobody was even close to hold his wheal in the end. In my opinion he looks stronger than Cav at the moment. Hopefully Edvald can ride for his own chanses the last stage, but he dosen't look like he does at his best jet. He can defintly sprint better than Thomas and CJ Sutton though.

it will be the queen stage of tour down under, i believe tom jelte-slagter will win, i'd like you to post some oppinions about tommorows (Portugal time) stage
Tom Jelte-Slagter is indeed looking strong, but I think Moreno and Hermans is bigger favourits. Gareint Thomas also showing good form so far. And I think Gerrans wants a revange after his pour ride on stage two, so he probably will be up there as well.
Even though he didnt win today, Ive enjoyed the performance of Tiago Machado today... 6th overall at TDU but could have done better... Looking forward to see how Rui Costa does this season, i think that if he gets a leader role at one of the grand tours he could be a surprise for everyone...
Rui Costa may get a leader role in the Giro or Vuelta if he does well in the start of the season.

Perhaps now in Volta A Algarve Rui Costa will do a good result, depends on the competition.

why do cyclists feel its ok to hog the road then?
I am looking for a mobile telephone app to record my rides. I know most of them are initially free to download and then you will need to pay a subscription to get bonus features. I have looked at Strava and RunKeeper, with both them having reasonable GPS capability. Is there anyone else within the GPRO community who cycles and can recommend such a product.
IpBike , for which you'll need Ipsensorman. Both are free. Your phone will need to be ANT+ compatible though, but that is pretty much a case of just rooting your phone. edit: I should say, ANT+ is only needed if you have speed/cadence sensors, powertap, or a heart rate monitor that you also want to monitor. Otherwise, the GPS will suffice.
http://www.iforpowell.com/cms/index.php?page=ipbike You get 1 million wheel revolutions for free, so approximately 200 hours at a typical cadence. More than enough to see its capabilities.

Why do drivers think it sensible to try and overtake a cyclist when there is a junction approaching and the cyclist is clearly going to be turning at it? If you can answer that question sensibly then I'll transfer you all of my Supporter Credits. ;)

Quote ( Dougie Marshall @ December 21st 2013,12:49:53 ) dont pay road tax. Neither do you, Mr Ignorant. You pay Vehice Excise Duty, which, as everyone not so ignorant knows, is a POLLUTION tax, the proceeds of which going into the general coffers of the Exchequer. But hey ho, ignorance is bliss among bad road users.
Quote ( Dougie Marshall @ December 21st 2013,12:49:53 ) because they are slow, in my way So you overtake cars that are turning right at a junction on the OUTSIDE...? They are slow, and in your way too.

road tax, road rent, call it whatever you want. Pollution tax my arse. this was in place long before the greenies managed to persuade people that a natural cycle of global warming was down to my car and cows farting. Thec refer to it as a pollution tax because its the right on thing to call it this weather. It also gave the rob dogs in the treasury an excuse to hit people who need big cars and cant afford new ones for more cash. bottom line Mr Equally Ignorant, I pay to use my car on the road. Call the tax whatever you want to but cyclists dont. therefore i have more right to it than them.QED. cyclists need to accept that on the road, they are, and always will be soft targets. get over it and dry your eyes.

Quote ( Dougie Marshall @ December 21st 2013,13:05:21 ) Thec refer to it as a pollution tax because its the right on thing to call it this weather. So the amount of VED you have to pay is not directly linked to the CO2 emissions of your car? Good luck with providing anything that disproves that fact. ;)
edit: should a smoker be first in the queue for medical treatment? Their cigarettes provide the majority of the finances that go towards funding hospitals, even if you take out the fact that that is not the purpose of the tax on cigarettes.

i HAVE to pay this tax to use the road. I can keep my car in the garden for free, but i cant use it on the road without paying. Cyclists can for free. Therefore i pay more for this privelige than cyclists. dress up the budget system whatever way you want, but my point stands.Quote ( Michael Winkley @ December 21st 2013,13:10:46 ) So the amount of VED you have to pay is not directly linked to the CO2 emissions of your car? as i say, just an excuse to squeeze more case out of motorists who need big cars.

Bikes were using roads, long before cars and the reality is something like 90% of cyclists who regularly ride a bike ALSO own a car and pay road tax you cretin

Dougie, you lost me at Quote ( Dougie Marshall @ August 16th 2013,19:16:24 ) it should not be illegal to run over cyclists a few months ago.
Quote ( David Rolleston @ December 21st 2013,13:23:16 ) Bikes were using roads, long before cars and the reality is something like 90% of cyclists who regularly ride a bike ALSO own a car and pay road tax you cretin I think that it should be made compulsory, as part of your driving test, for you to spend some time cycling on the roads; thats the only way drivers will realise how much danger bad driving can create for cyclists.
