Quote ( Stuart Aspey @ October 25th 2019,21:54:33 ) Felipe, what a dominant win. Congratulations. As Mark Pinnick has said earlier, I think the fight for promotion next season might be heavily fought
Thank toy Stuart and Gutierrez
we will fight hard this season for the top positions.
A good season for everyone.

Ring Ring. Let the season begin!

Good luck for the new season ladies and gents. It should be a good one.
Not really sure what happened to my Q2, I'm guessing my driver got lost at some point...
Great qualifying time there William, I'm not as confident about my chances of taking the championship after that Q1 time... Eek
Have fun all, good luck to the guys gunning for promotion. I won't be bothering you (this season) ;)

Yea it was pretty solid but I think maybe you're sandbagging a little or had a bigger DM in Q1 than I had, which cost you because that Q2 is mega!! I'll wait to see the rest of qualifying but so far I'd have you down as my favourite for the championship :)
My Q1 time was nearly 0.3 seconds quicker than my practice time, so I think in dry settl up, I'm not quick enough. But my Q2 time is on a 1 stop wet set up. I think maybe my driver is just good in the wet. It's surprised me how quick he is.
😂 Just liked my own post when trying to press edit. Sorry.
My Q1 time is 29th in all AMA at the moment. Q2 is still first of all AMA. unbelievable.
Hmm, maybe I do have good pace in the dry, I was .150 slower. Expected you to have had a bad DM. Are you going lighter in the first stint? I've gone a little heavier than half way but wouldn't have thought it would be a second + worth of extra fuel haha. Either that or your driver is very talented...
Still hanging in on the best Q2 out there, hope you make it. We're both top 10 overall which is nice, I think I'll drop out soon enough though but encouraging signs and what looks like a very competitive season for us :)
I don't think I've gone lighter, I've planned a 1 stop race, so I should go all the way to half distance. My worry is whether it will stop raining near the end and I'll have to put and end up being real heavy with fuel on dry tyres
Well the end of the 3rd stint should see us around the 45/46 lap mark, so if it does stop hopefully it's only for a few dry laps at the end... do pit or not to pit, that is the question. Got kicked out of the top 10. Hang in there, do it for the group :D

good luck in the new season.
i will see the fight from behind:)

Congratulations Mark, what a start to the season.

Now to test out dry weather pace!! :D

Congratulations Felipe. I'm not sure what went wrong with my race...
2 pits strategy was wrong.

Quote ( Stuart Aspey @ November 5th 2019,21:38:29 ) Congratulations Felipe. I'm not sure what went wrong with my race... The randomly fixable random didn’t help, but neither did the strategy choice.
Amazed to be on the podium again last night; think that might be the end of the streak though!!

Nice battle developing at the top of the group. Stephen, William, it's going to be a close one I think. Felipe, Mariusz and Claudio not far back, either. :)
Only 10 point scorers in the first 6 races, but so many inactive players that retention really isn't a problem for anyone who's racing; maybe this is having an effect?
Good luck in Kyalami all. :)

Good season. I was hoping for easy one :D I was wrong.
The results were not as I expected, despite being top of the league. The battle is much closer. I think the four that promote will undoubtedly be strong in Pro and I dare say we will meet again in Masters not too long after leaving AMA
I'm sure that 5 from our group will promote. Lucky looser should earn enough points to go to pro.
A nice battle indeed. I was thinking before the last race Stuart and I were starting to pull away but then you go and win. DM cost me though otherwise I think it was mine. Can't complain too much Stuart had terrible luck one race otherwise he would be further ahead. So I wouldn't worry too much right now, it's still early in the season. But we are starting to break away a little I think.
I'm a season ahead of myself because of bad planning so I'm not sure how I'll fair in Pro in the first season, I should be able to maintain him for 3 seasons in Pro though which should give me the building blocks to push on and go for Master. Never made it there before so that will be fun.
Anyways, back to the main talking point... should I get my best friend a stripper for his stag or not... Just kidding of course I will. It's going to be a fun season, there are many twists and turns yet to come I'm sure :)
Very well said William. Of course you need to get a stripper for the stag party.
Wow, that's a great Pole position time, I thought I had a good set up here!?! What's your driver stamina looking like? Mine is 157 and I thought I was going to get quicker and start pulling away, but Mark Pinnick and Marlusz Palak seem to be able to pull good results out of the bag...
Stamina’s lagging behind yours a bit; I expect my talent is a bit higher (which explains the wet race first up).
So many variables though; makes it difficult to work out why you’re fast one race, and slow the next!! :)
Yea I was quite surprised. On a 2 stop soft strategy too. Currently 1st in q1 of all ama, hopefully maintain it. I just got to 150 with the last fitness training. Should be just over once testing kicks in after the race. 157 is a solid number. My talent is lower than I would like. Only 161, would prefer it to be around the 180 mark but what you going to do?
Yea those guys are doing well to stay with us but might be difficult to maintain.I think towards the end we will pull away a little more and depending who wants it more will win the Championship. I still have Stuart as favourite, which might not sound so crazy but those who know, know ;)
It's an interesting battle you guys are having, I follow it with interest. Special interest and support for my teammate Mark obviously :D Also quite impressive stamina values, a bit higher than I'm aiming for next season. But I guess OA can only absorb so much of each important stat ;)
Have fun battling, and take care when lapping me.

I had planned Fitness training 17 times this season, alongside 17 test sessions to get my stats ready for Pro. I think I'm in a very similar position as William if you're suggesting contract resigning. I've got until Race 5 next season, but might have to consider starting early. Eek. My concentration 184, talent 189, exp 113 and stamina 160 going into this race, but the circuit characteristics are varying wildly this season, so I'm struggling with consistency, though as long as I can finish 4th or higher, then I'll keep pulling away from Claudio and Marlusz. It would be great to have the championship and Cup to take into Pro, but I'm thinking the right stats at promotion is better.
What can I say? My current situation isn't comfortable. It looks like all promoting spots are taken. I will try score as much points as possible and maybe get a promotion as a "lucky looser". Great season anyway.
