I tried to 'go it on my own' for a few races and along with driver issues I was falling behind. I joined Team Eclipse just before racing in Korea and the support and acceptance has been amazing. New driver, full support, I finished second and was delighted. I can seriously recommend joining a good team.

Somehow, it never bothers me when people open new threads to say something positive ;) Way to go Rob, good luck to you and your team

I personally consider that joining a team is a big part of this game and helps newbies get adapted and become managers that stay and are a rich part of this community. Letting the thread open and moving it to newbie forum :D

Well this is 101% true, but people, don't think 'good' means top100 or whatever team, there are awful teams in top100 too, 'good' team is where people communicate with eachother, so yeah, before joining, make sure the team is ready to help and they communicate before each race :P

lol love the sentiment, but go edit to crap so it isnt edited for you :P
Joining a vocal team is what is most important, I think there are some great teams in top 100, but also some where everyone already knows it all and see no reason to talk much.
Plus, a team where you get to laugh at ppl who make mistakes like rain tyres in dry (Mick) is one of the best parts of the game ;)

Nice to here somebody is happy with the game, congratz on the team dude :-)
keep at it mate, it only gets better, am been here for a bit now , and I love it more than the 1st time I joined, I JUST LOVE IT :-)
