Congrats to our "Hermanos" for WC finalists! Were better than us and deserve to be there. But I still think that Germany is much greater and favorite for the title.

I'm maybe be the only one who enjoyed this match but it was refreshing to see real football after that darts game of yesterday, lol.
No dives, no harsh tackles, two great defenses and a well played and close match by two strong teams.

I am used to it, just can't enjoy it because i don't feel the world cup is good enough if they get to the final

Well played Argentina, deserved win IMO. Messi was hiding again though...still a long way to go before he can be put on the same pedestal as Maradona.

Tbh i didn't really mind who made the final, i just wanted good performances, and i think we've been lacking that in the big games outside of Germany against Brazil last night. Therefore Argentina are right to be there, i just wished they'd have performed better.

yes i know but semi-final match used to be equals , brazil-germany wasnt a average seni-final game, i guess never in a semi-final the score was 7-1.

Some clever man once said something like; "By scoring goals, you win games. By defending, you win champions". Your comment is just pure hate against Argentina. Their defence has been impressive the last two games I've watched them. And Messi's personal performances again today gave Arhentina a chance to win, but those finishes from his teammates.. *facepalm* It's no secret Argentina haven't shined by scoeing goals but that's mostly because the strikers have missed the chances. You never know if the next game is where they don't miss a single chance.
With that said, it'll be a lot closer game than most of the people makes us think. And someone saying that one of the two teams didn't deserve to get in the finals should stop commenting, coz he doean't know nuttin 'bout football.

Egon you are totally right (impossible to quote on this forum on a phone). Everyone was bitching that there wasn't 8 goals, but I found it a fascinating tactical battle between two good teams. Argentina just about deserved it, but Vlaar was easily man of the match.

Petrus, I'm not sure what match you were watching if you thought that Messi played well.
On balance, penalties was definitely the fair result. Both sides defended very well all game.
The final will be tight, and I generally don't see Germany being as creative as the Dutch, so I think that Argentina have a decent chance of winning. Both sides have non-existent players; Messi and Ozil. I think that Muller makes the difference though, and Neuer is simply awesome.

Sry Netherlands, but I guess thats what you get when you worry more about conceding goals and losing than actually trying to win the game. What happened to that confidence in your ability from round 1 I wonder. Just got more conservative and more negative the further and further they progressed. Not going to win tournaments with that apprach regardless how good you may be.
I dont see Germany making the same mistake which in turn makes it difficult to believe Argentina will win the final. But who knows. Pressure makes ppl do funny things.

I fell asleep at half time and woke up just in time to see the penalties, but by the looks of it, I didn`t miss much. Oh well, I guess most of Europe wants ze Germans to win, which is a first.
