are you sure you have extracted the new go.exe at the location of the old?
This error is relative to changes in race analysis page, and block sponsor check.

Thank you for reviving oraniser but i have a problem with it.
I have the message when launching go.exe :
critical error during startup
there are an unindentified error while reading your go.dat file
it can be found at ... go.dat if you save any data your old data will be lost. please make a backup of your data while proceeding
And it doesnt open.

First of all - thank you!
..and after this...
May be it's better to finish a new version, and then polish it by feedback? Just to save time in global meaning. New users just confused because of a current "setup" with the patch and so on.

Hi guys,
silly question maybe but where can I get the latest version from? I see random websites out there have it but keep getting a message on my bottom right of the program saying 'new version available' I also get race parsing errors and startup errors too.

ok, i've find link....
but....What are its real functions?
I (after downloading all my data) tried the "pit stop tool" but it doesn't tell me anything. everything remains empty.
I see only my general data.

check your "past tyre wear" & "past fuel history" and then you need to input figures to "pitstop tool" and hit enter
It doesn't do it automatically, you need to do it yourself.
Note: those "past" tables might seem empty, because GO automatically chooses tracks in the same category as the next race,
Next races "Fuel consumption & Tyre wear : Medium"
IF you've only used it for one race, the previous race was "Fuel consumption: Low & Tyre wear: High" so the "medium" tables will remain empty
After a few races you'll get the different rating categories populated it will get easier, 'till that happens you can change the "past tables" category and guessimate from there.
i.e since previous race was Fuel Medium and now is fuel Low, you could conceivably use the same for both tracks (for now)

Is there any way to pull data into the organizer from prior races? I can access the data in the game but haven't found a way to port it over to the tool.
Great tool, by the way. I especially look forward to using it once it has some data. :)

For the moment, it's not possible.
I would implement it but this will give partial datas because we can't rebuild all with only past RaceAnalysis.

I have looked quickly but cannot see a solution on the boards but recently had a problem when I updated my HD in my laptop. Needless to say I had to install GO again and had a few problems at the end of last season .... but when I clicked on the new season, it all uploaded perfectly and I thought GREAT no problems, however ....................
came to update after the Austin race and this is what I get after it loads my car and driver
"Error during race parsing :Access to the path "C:\error.txt" is denied.
I click on that box and then get
Exception of type: Systems. Exception was thrown.
Nothing else then gets uploaded although it allows me to save
Any ideas ??

@Sébastien Boulanger (P5) I notice in post race caculations for austin that expected km calculation was wrong for second stint.It was wrong. Obviusly dont know if anybody else ha had this.
and maybe just me lol

@Alan Halford (A39) what's your Windows version and install path?
It seems to be a write rigths issue.
Try to launch go in admin mode.
@Darren Brown (A5) your second stint was mixed rain/dry?
I've not checked how it works but can be a factor

Thanks Sebastien - I have tried all that and still the same problem. I did have trouble installing it all when I first tried to put it on my new HD - is it worth me trying to re-install a new version. I will only lose the first race data and I do have it on my main PC without any problems.
I try to keep it on my laptop in case I go away
EDIT - Just thought - where is the latest download available as I may have downloaded old version
DOUBLE EDIT - OK Disregard that as I think I got the right one - still have the same problem

Hi guys when a load up gpro2 and i want to update it keeps coming up with the following error messages
error Duering race parsing: Access to the path c:/error.txt is denied
and then
exception of type 'system.exception' was thrown
its not letting me update my settings are there any suggestions?

It's seems to be the same issue than Alan.
Windows version?
Install path ?
Can you see when the problem occurs?
If it's race analysis parsing, the patch normally correct it, maybe, it can have a problem in a particual situation not encountered before like boost / fastest lap / pit / mistake....
Can you save your race analysis page to send it to me or eventually set a limited access password, then I can try to parse your data's to see?

I have to say that I am a bit confused.
Play this game now for 2 seasons. Collected data, made a spreadsheet and after every race I changed something to make it more convenient to use.
Of course I had also read a lot on the forum here, including about GO. Had not yet come to see what exactly that program is.
Mainly because I always work on chromebooks (no HD).
This weekend I searched for an old windows PC and downloaded GO.
I expected to find something similar as I had made myself.
So a lot of data, but was curious what it looked like. Of course I already knew that I would not find 'old data' of myself.
What really surprised me was that I saw the perfect seup for the upcoming race. (calculated manually and it was accurate).
Also regarding fuel, tires, wear, wing splits etc. All ready to use without having to think for a
scond. My first impression was: wow I really did not expect this.
For me at the moment it feels a bit like the moves made on the chessboard are actually the moves taken from a chess computer.
And then there are also quite a lot of users active on similar websites.
Call me naive, but I don't even understand why these websites have access to GPRO.
On the forum it is FOBY here and FOBY there, and meanwhile you can pick the info from official websites? I really did not expect this!

There is some websites on which you can find a lot of stuff for GPro like setup, fuel, wings, etc...
But they are not linked to GPro directly, you have to parse data to gave them data's.
But, they are also "no free" to use, for me it's a money backdoor for those who have created it...
I don't understand one thing, GO can't and never give you any of this stuff.
He just collect your data's to keep them, the only calculation was on estimated tyres durability and fuel loads after a race...
And it's a total freeware, and a total FOBY app
Are you sure you speak of same app?
Edit: for me, gpro need a data protocol, opened to registered applications and should disallow html parsing to disallow this kind of applications.

It sounds like Kobus found a blacklisted site offering an app. None of those are official, not even GO. We are free to discuss on GO here because it respects FOBY policies, but it's still not official. Sites offering FOBY data are blacklisted and discussion on those is against site's rules.
Some of those sites demand managers provide their GPRO login (or at least limited access password), which they use to collect the data they have. That means managers concent that.
