Good evening. Will this work for Win 10? In Win 7 everything worked perfectly. in Win 10 it does not start. And run like administrator, too, I press the start and nothing happens. what could be the problem?

Not too sure what happened but data disappeared for the last four seasons from GO. The only race data I have for this season is Austin. I have exported some data last week and CSV shows all the missing races.

I have exported some data last week and CSV shows all the missing races. Did this happen after updating go? Sounds like it has changed the location of your data file. Do a search for go.dat on your system.

I have updated GO couple of weeks ago. Search found the current dat file only. Really odd.

@Alex Tolmar (A37) There is no reason for your data's disappears. Can you check if your go.old have the same size than go.dat?
If there is an error on your file you will receive an error message.
Can you send me yours files to Gpro.organizer@gmail.com?

I also suffer from the same problem. I ended up using an earlier version, but ended up losing 3 seasons of data.

go.dat file save as .......

|

@Jose Pedro (P19) Keep your go.bak safe in other directory, if you don't save the parsing error twice your old data. S will be there.
And with @Sagar Subhedar (A83)
Please send me both your's go.dat, go.bak and error.log for analysis
Gpro.organizer@gmail.com Thanks in advance

Email sent with some images.
Sorry, but I got busy with other stuff and realized it now. I understand that the time is short. So, no issues if 1st race data isn't there.
You're doing an amazing job and we all respect this.

I don't know why but for about the last 2-3 weeks when I do a data update my organiser bleeps out a bunch of error as it goes through in updating all the numbers. However if I do another update right after the first one, it goes though and updates without any errors. Other than that it seems to be updating and doing it's job. I did not send in a problem log because it does get updated the second time through and I even suspect the first time through. Not sure why but I thought I would add that here in case others are having the same problem.

I think that the connection has timed out but GO thinks it is still connected. Once you retry it the program logs in again and all is back to normal.
|
|
|
It can be a way of search but normally the application check connection everytime and this is not a good way to work.
I'm preparing a debug version to see with Sagar what happens, if you want to join @Alex Holland (P20) send me a PM 👍

I'm pretty sure it's just the session times out on the server and responds accordingly. Second time GO logs in again and everything is fine. Some timeout in GO probably would solve this, but this isn't really an issue, although can be improved.

Why install location isn't in "Program Files" by default? Some kind of limitation in windows or?
|
|
|
Is there a means of using GO but saving data in an alternate format to the .DAT file? Looking to link the data into Excel where possible.
|
|
|
@Steven Rose (R67) You can export some data's to csv, but not a lot.
In the next major change you will get the configurable data exporter 👍
