Greggs make pastrys for English people.
Greggs, purveyor of pastry and cultural icon , has taken another nourishing step towards a healthier world.
The chain has introduced a new range of sourdough pasties, which contain two-thirds less fat and saturated fat than their original counterparts.
There's a chicken katsu pasty and a samosa-style Bombay potato-filled snack. Both are made with sourdough shortcrust pastry rather than buttery puff , and come with a crunchy topping.
"Chicken breast pieces in a Japanese style Katsu curry sauce, encased in a sourdough flavoured case and finished with a crunchy spiced crumb topping," is how Greggs describes the first of its Balance Choice Bakes.
Both are under 300 calories, well below the likes of the popular steak bake and chicken slice.

Whoa! I've never heard of a samosa-style Bombay potato-filled snack before... And I just learned about it on a mere browser game called GPRO! What a day to be alive -- thanks for the info, homie.

The woman with the biggest boobs in the UK has managed to squeeze her waist down to a tiny 24 inches after wearing a rib-crushing corset for 12 HOURS a day.
Gran Sharon Perkins swapped her 34D breasts for 32MM implants after forking out £10k – but that wasn't enough for the 50-year-old from Coventry, West Midlands.
Sharon now wants a tiny 22-inch waist to go with her gigantic assets in time for her September 2017 wedding .
Inspired by Jessica Rabbit, Sharon is often seen wearing a tight red long dress, push up bras and a corset to enhance her figure.

Is there any pictures or descriptions about this by her or people in her circle?

Some rather sad news today from England
A young cancer victim told she had three years to live after being diagnosed with an aggressive brain tumour has died the day before her dream wedding.
Successful blogger Anna Swabey, 24, met the man of her dreams on Tinder last year and was planning to get wed tomorrow.
But Anna's condition took a drastic turn for the worse and her family announced today on Facebook that she had died.
Posting to the social network, the heartbroken family said: "Anna passed away peacefully in the early hours of this morning.
"I cannot put into words the heartbreak we all feel, but amongst our sadness, we are so proud of her courage, her spirit and the determination she showed throughout her illness.
"If ever there was a person to show us how to live, it's Anna Louise Swabey, our beautiful, brave girl ."

Britain's luckiest mum who experienced four pain-free labours using hypnotherapy - before enjoying a three-week ORGASM.
Emily Street, 35, claims to have enjoyed the euphoric sensation after the births of her four children, and said she "loved" every minute of labour.
The midwife began using hypnotherapy before her first child Oscar, nine, as she was "terrified" of giving birth.
Emily, who lives with husband Paul, 34, in Hale, Cheshire, said: "I was really quite terrified having seen loads of things as a midwife, and obviously the things that really stick with you are the ones that weren't so nice.
Emily, who has three other children, Ernie, seven, Roo, five, and three-year-old Pip, added: "The euphoria that I felt after the births was very, very close to an orgasm sensation, which lasted for three or four weeks as opposed to something that's very intense for a short amount of time.
"From my point of view, I'm happy with that.

A schoolboy was suspended because he had supposedly taken an extra chicken nugget at lunch time.
To confirm: one, solitary nugget. Just one. Yes, a single chicken nugget.
Carson Koller, a student at Farragut High School in Knoxville, Tennessee, was given a 'theft of property' notice for taking six chicken nuggets instead of the designated five.
When Carson came home with the news, his mum couldn't believe it. She wrote a fiery Facebook status detailing her outrage.
Carrie set her status to "Feeling mad" "My Eagle Scout, captain of the drum line, all-around hardworking and well-rounded teenager just got suspended from a day of school (and after school band practice) for taking an extra chicken nugget from the lunch line," wrote Carrie Koller Waller .
"Maybe I'm missing parts of the story, but in the past, the cafeteria has never hesitated to charge Carson double for the amount of food he's taken/eaten."
Carrie explained that her son was taken to the principal's office on Monday lunch time. She said that he was told the school had to be "consistent" with the rules set out in the Knox County Handbook.
The suspension was official "Does my son really deserve suspension over hunger, especially when they have the ability to charge his lunch account for the items?" Carrie continued in her Facebook post.
"How is it theft if he paid for it? It's food. FOOD! Not weapons. Not drugs. Not alcohol. Not cheating on a test.
"Not inappropriate clothing or profanity. Not fighting. Not calling in threats. Not vandalism. I am shaking my head over this and not sure what to do....laugh, punish, argue, dress him up as a nugget bandit, or let it go.
"Does the suspension matter on his records?"

Fair play to the school! Theft is theft. Proper order!
|
|
|
Quite right too.
If you know you're only allowed 5 then why take 6. I bet it's not the first time he's done it either & the staff had just had enough this time.
Stupid kid.
His mum can piss off as well.

Eliminating childhood obesity one nugget at a time!
|
|
|
When she says "hes well rounded " did she mean obese already?
|
|
|
haha! one nugget a day x by 5 that's 5 nuggets extra a week
x that by what 40 weeks that's an extra 200 nuggets!
|
|
|
The funny thing is they probably throw away 50 of them...amongst all else. One less for the bin doesn't hurt. He's doing his bit for the environment :D
