Hi,
I'm wondering if the fuel consumption on the dry track is the same as the wet track? Sorry fo my English and thanks for answers.

Hi can't give you a straight up answer but, think how the rain affects your car when you drive it to the shops, to work etc. What do you notice about the fuel use and driving style? You should be able to apply that logically to make some informed guesses. You'll need to collect data after each race and sections of the race to get the numbers that suit your car and driver.

Surely after done 50 races you should be able to tell that by yourself !! ;)
there is something called race analysis where you can calculate
fuelconsumption try to find it before you do race 100.

What's the point? In driving the F1 car to the shops I mean. Where would you put all your shopping?

Maybe Kuba was just testing us because after >50 races he probably knows. :))
I don't have 50 races but I also think that the car consumes less when it rains. The car goes slower -> less power -> less fuel. I don't know if my logic is the same as the admins but I'm sure hoping. :D

Hi,
Just my first race so newbie as can be, but if I look at the practice laps I have a fuel usage from 24 liters for 5 laps on a wet track, assuming that it also will be my usage during the race, isn't it fairly simple to do this before every race and therefor calculate the average fuel usage, wet against dry...??

Or is this a to simple calculation..?

I'm guessing you mean you have fuel usage from 5 laps of testing, not 5 laps of practice, and the test track is the same all season, and not the same as the race.
Also, tracks have different fuel usage levels, so it will vary from track to track.

You should always calculate per km, not per lap...

Thx, that's exactly what I needed to know....only problem now is that I don't know if I use enough or way too much fuel...so back to the calculation board...:):) but at least glad I know now so I dont start of as a complete screw-up...'(that's wishfull thinking)

Liek, there are only 8 races left in this season, so use them to find out what the average (possible) fuel usages for the next tracks are...

Next season you will able to compare... Very track has a different fuel usage level, but it isn't a difference of hundreds of liters...

I knew I shouldn't have been to eager starting of qualifiying and all, but hey, punishment does teach a person sometimes...lol...sure will use these last 8 races to try and find out more about the fuel and try to learn from past mistakes every race....as using only 10 liters in the 2nd qualification...(whistles and looks up)

Not much worse than the mistake i made in my first ever race.

Not put of this quickly ;)...it's more laughing about it, since it's not the first time I start reading the FAQ and decide to try out some first before I read the rest....but I think every race will teach me more about all facets of the game, I'll see this season as my testing season and try to gather some money for the next.

I actually only see it as an advantage since now I have the time to learn and upgrade car and driver before a new season starts.

Money wont be too important for you this season, unless you promote it all gets reset in Rookie groups anyway, along with any car upgrades, and also you lose your driver if the OA of him is over 85 at the season end.

That is good to know..thx again, now at least I know I will keep him away from any upgrades and hope he won't grow too much during the upcoming races...

Ok so now my biggest concern is keeping my driver under 86 or getting me a new one quickly....I really must learn to read.

Thx, dumb blond ahoy (don't even need blond hair for that)...;)

Always remember: better to have more fuel than less. ;)
Also when you sign the driver look very careful. Don't pay him too much.

Since my driver has an 85 average at the moment I'll probably loose him at the end of the season anyway, so I'll keep that in mind with my next offer...
