I'm sure you could, Stu. :P

I really like this change as it gives me a chance to re-connect with the game. The last 10 seasons I have not at all been interested in GPRO, now I have some new motivation to become interested again...well, after my holiday at least :)

Same here, I've spent more time on the game in these past 2 days than in the whole month before that. My wife's just about to divorce me. :D

I've sent Vlad a PM with a proposed age-stamina recovery model.

Hopefully he gives it some consideration.

As mentioned, I think that energy recovery is the key to this new feature.

I seriously don.t get why people are complaining about driver energy.. It makes all the planing you did useless? Wtf lol? Everyone.s in the exact same situation, you will not be able to run ct 100 all season..and then what? Neither will the others. At least this rule will sort out those guys who really deserve to promote, managers pushing 80 ct in ama and rookie to promote is the past. From now on only those will promote who actually managed to build a good package and not those that are runnning on high risks. I welcome the idea..

Lol too many pussies playing this game... 1 race and you wanna get rid of the feature? Grow a pair and adapt. Give it time, wait and observe how it works. Observe patterns. Something which you cannot do after ONE damn race.

The fact that my driver only lasted like 38 laps disappointed me, but I won't complain like a pussy and demand a the staff to get rid of the feature just cause MY plan ain't working like I thought it would. I was planning to finish at 10th position but hey... Driver energy ruined my plans. What will I do now? I'll work something out.

Just my two cents... Hate on me if you feel like so, don't give a bloody shite.

To Vlad and the staff: awesome feature, most likely need tweeks but that can be done in the future, of course. So keep up the good work.

This change was much needed, and I applaud the admins for implementing it. It brings a level of realism to race tactics and is a start.

Auto-racing of 1 1/2 hours in length is an endurance race and requires a great level of stamina and the ability to recover before the event. While endurance atheletes will race at 100% during there event, if not properly rested, that 100% output is not as optimal as when rested. For this reason, athletes typically peak for 2 "A" level races are year, where their performance is at its best.

One race does not allow for a proper analysis of what is going on and I would like to give the change time and enjoy it.

As for tweaks or changes to it:

Testing should be included in the effect on energy. There are more laps carried out in testing, that have just as much impact on the drivers health. Testing occuring between races should be included.

The loss of energy should not be linear, nor its recovery. The loss of energy should be cumulative based on total laps run (race and testing) and risks used. The more laps/risks the faster the loss. The recovery of energy should also be affected in the same way. The more laps and risks used the slower the recovery

Change is good, and driver energy was a much needed change!

Probably the best new feature since tyre suppliers. It would be interesting to hear from Vlad and Stefan to see if they think it went as planned as they must have done some simulations before implementing it. How about some stats of how many per tier had drivers that were capable of using 100ct even if they didn't use it.

*people complain game is becoming stale and no new features are added*
*new feature gets added*
*people complain about said feature after 1 race and ask for it`s removal*

I say keep it, give it some time to see how it pans out, it`s been only one race. I for one like the feature and it should bring some changes to how the game is played.

I feel that I was one of the unlucky ones who started the game with no person helping met. I can still remember running with full tanks of fuel and then too little and figuring out tires and all of those things in the first seasons.

Wonderfully I never died and I needed to work out these things for myself. I dont see this as a game killer. I just need to work this out myself. Yes, I wanted to promote this season and I ran 100 ct in the first race. I did hit the "wall" and I kinda worked out what my driver on that track is more or less capable. This coupled with the recovery I more or less have an idea what type of risk it can do.

I don't see this as a bad thind, I see it as a good thing

I often wondered what would have happen if the admins gives as 17 new tracks for a season. Kinda get everybody in the dark. Virtualy making it a new game from scratch. Wonder how many of the moaners would be able to do the maths on their own.

The only thing we learned is that elite drivers couldn't make that particular race at 100ct.

We learned nothing about what they can do next race.

There are only two types of people in the world, those who can extrapolate from incomplete data...

as aa rookie i do not understand ppl complaining about this feature.

so you cannot run full risk all race every race, then work on your strategy more, surely just running the same thing race after race is boring?

yes i get that some ppl have gathered a ton of data and this means they need to gather more but, hello, what about new players, they start with nothing and you dont see threads full of them moaning about each feature in the game!

What i think it really boils down to is that players who threw the same startegy at races and did well now has to play the game, no longer can they set it up the same race after race they need to think.....

if you ask me i think we need more new things, new tracks would me we all start fresh, would you moan about having new tracks in the game?

i also think we should be able to pick the group we race in, there needs to be a list of groups and we can pick, this means you could race with a team mate, how cool would that be.?,lol

The Energy thing can be fun. Let's it to stay ^^

Yet that doesn't mean that perhaps some extra tweaking could be considered to make it to 'fit better'. Or more changes to Gpro, to make it more senseful and interesting indeed :)

Driver energy is excellent feature. It has minus though - favours OBP. But in the same time it increase importance of driver skills what is great. Also good planning is must. 100 ctr 17 races will be no longer available even in elite.

So strategy - i have shitloads of cash, good full motivated driver and highest level car will not create a championship any longer. This is good. Now maybe smartest will win.

My opinion is i think the driver energy levels out the competition. Not so many managers using high risk and running away with 13 wins out of 17 races like some did last season.

Now that most drivers will be forced to use low CT, will it mean that the faster strategies (e.g 3 stops or 4 stops) will now be a thing of the past? Just thinking
