This is a fast javascript sort of the table which does not require an additional database query. So for the moment I will stick to that. At least the different difficulties are grouped then and within ordered by the ratio of blocks and passes. If I have some time on my hands, maybe I will try to develop a custom sorter that may fix the problem. But don't hope for it too soon. I also wanted to code the stats now for at least 3 or 4 years... :P

Stefan, you could perhaps add a dummy attribute to the table cell element with a numerical value for the track overtaking stat, and adapt the sorting method to use that instead of the cell's text content? That'd avoid having to do another server call

It's incredible how many people do not pick up sarcasm. :D
I mean come on, how would a negative setup give you negative wear? ^^ My best guess is indeed it was somehow possible to run negative or above 1000 setups but it would just affect laptime and nothing else. In some circumstances perhaps you get quicker laps with it.
Maybe negative fuel load was possible too, that sounds like fun. :)

Feel free to have a little look at testing results in the top tiers in recent seasons. You'll spot some trends in terms of lap times and positioning of managers surely.
Now ask yourself this: if those extremely slow laps have no positive effect whatsoever, why in captain floppycock's name would people keep doing it?
Managing TD OA seems unlikely, right? ;)

The speed button on the new race screen is bloody rubbish! It makes all the other cars speed up as well!!! Whats the point of that???

lol, quite possibly. Though my feeling is it's probably something to do with what I noticed and wondered about 20+ seasons ago that people do in Elite, back when I thought I might someday need to know about it. But, as it is, in the first instance I no longer need to and in the second I also no longer need to if that was part of the fixed bug.
