wow!! a great addition!!!
just a quick question: at the moment in/out of the pits is the real loss of time in the pit lane
so when a manager pits he loses in/out+ pit stop time
in reality time loss = in/out +pit stop time - time a manager who races loses from pit antry to pit end...
in other words time loss due to the pit is related/correlated to the race speed ( and so the group, weather conditions etc)
i saw that in the application real time is measured...
so either the pit-stop time loss formula will be modulated, or all the cars , ( no matter driver, car leavel etc) will have the same speed in the track part starting from the beginning of the pit late to the end...

Are the lap times in 'real' time or will they last 2 minutes as per the current viewer?

Thanks guys but I meant for the live race not the replay.
Tob the 10 x speed interests me - it might make car look like it's going at a decent speed :)

- Music - thats just for this video and me fiddling around... never made a video before. Video was made in Camtasia. - Mistakes - indeed fun to watch... when someone else misses the corner ... pitstops are nail-biting slow ... bad for the heart - wait till you see blocking and overtaking, so cool :) - 2 minutes per lap? - not sure... most laps are roughly 90 seconds, but I think it is undecided yet if we going to warp the time.... Also, other groups have different laptimes of the leader, so I think all races are made so that all race leaders begin same lap at same moment... - speed of dots - is a replay option, not available in live version - pitstop time: in-out time is taken for traveling thru the pits, pitstop is = stand still time.
We are still developing new features and options, basically the same info you have in the old race screen.... - roughly 95% of tracks are 'driveable'. Roughly 40% is finished.
You can post feedback and suggestions here in this topic.

I don't see where that conclusion comes.
Assume 20s pit in/out time and 110s pit entry lap time and 135s pit exit lap time and 25s pit time. In most tracks that results 100s to the start of the pit straight (the area where pit stops happen). then it spends 20s cruising in the pit straight before and after stop combined (split depends on where the stop happens) and 25s stopped. Then again from the end of pit straight to the end of next lap it takes 100s.
Also, assume that the pit entry starts at 95% of lap distance. Then the car spends 95s up to that point (so it goes the same speed as it would if it did 100s normal lap) and the last 5s slowing towards the pit straight.
On some tracks like Indy Oval where pit entry and exit are long, part of the pit in/out time is moved from pit straight to pit entry and exit so doesn't spend the full pit in/out time on pit straight.
