I heard that if Hamilton wins this Grand Prix, finishes 3 points ahead of Rosberg in the next race and 9 points ahead of Vettel next race, Hamilton will have won his 3rd Drivers Title

4 races after this and 73 point gap (if Hamilton wins today), so yes.

why is putin in the drivers room? looks awkward :) doesn't happen at any other event where a political leader is allowed to do that.
Not even major event sponsors do that.
Still, lets be honest, this track will only be on the calendar upto him no longer being in power. Its pretty pants. Nice surroundings, bad circuit.

What a crappy race.
Hamilton fluked his win, he is better than Rosberg but he was not this weekend. Perez will be overhyped again for a tactical race.
On a good note, Kimi promoted Massa to 4th, Kvyat 6th and both McLarens scored. :)

maybe they need to think about 3 compounds at each event and all of them have to be used once in dry races?. Can't think of a better way to avoid these precessionary one stop races at low deg tracks :/

Hard to say that given we only saw about 4 or 5 racing laps before Rosberg's problems struck. If he had a healthy car for another 10-15 laps and was not under any particular pressure then that might be a fair comment.

Also for the second weekend in a row, best race since Hungary, but that is not saying much.

Rosberg had Hamilton thoroughly beat all weekend, so if Tim hadn't said today I would've agreed with him.

At least you didn't have to watch it on Spanish TV otherwise known as the Carlos Sainz Appreciation Society.
Rosberg doing an interview in Spanish was funny though, how many languages does that guy speak?

He had him beaten in qualifying, the practices were hardly representative. So if he said "Rosberg had him beaten in qualifying so unfortunate he had a problem so early" then I would also agree. But you cant say he was better in the race with only a handful of racing laps where the gap was pretty much always below 1 sec.

Aww poor butt hurt Rosberg fanboi's.
Hamilton would have finished at least 2nd anyway, this just gets him nearer his WC sooner, because lets face it, you can argue Nico was better all weekend this race, but it's all the other races where Hamilton is so much better than Rosberg it's laughable, where he's won the championship.
