Welcome to the F1 2002 Official Season 1
-Game Rules- 1- This game is using the game engine of EA Sport's F1 2002 2- Every player has 2 drivers to manage in the team. 3- Races are run on Tuesdays. Untill the highlights of the race published, there will be no race result. (highlights of a race mostly publishing Wednesdays) 5- You can set your setup as the defaut which can be used if you cant send next race setups. But if you dont have a Default Setup, and you couldnt send race setup than you ll be DSQ from the race 6- Season suppliers selections must be send to me via PM. 7- You can upgrade seperately for each drivers and select different risks for each. 8- If your balance is negative you cant do any upgrades still you can select race risks for the upcoming race. 9- You can go negative balance with upgrading. 10- Tyre and Material Supplier selection is for once. You cant change it during season. Fuel Supplier may be changed before 4th, 7th, 10th and 13rd races 11- If the points of 2 or more Drivers/Constructors are same at the end of the season, tiebreaker is to look at their Financial Balance first, then head to head superiority for last race. 12- Setup sendings must be done before Mondays 12:00:00 CET 13- Who doesnt send setups for 2 races will be dismiss from team (someone can take control of that team with its current stats and balance) 14- If you send wrong setup or did mistake, dont try to use responder again coz it cant overwrite. PM me instead, i ll change it if it is before deadline.
-Conditions / Setups-
-Starting Balance for teams: 30.000.000
-Base Stats before Season Start;
Starting Stats StartsDry=0.0 StartsWet=0.0 StartStalls=12.0 RaceAbility=15.5 / Min 7.0 RainAbility=10.0 Passing=0.0 / max 70.0 Tech Fail=50.0
StartsDry=0.0 //Average number of drivers passed at start (-2, +4) StartsWet=0.0 //Average number of drivers passed at start (-2, +4)
StartStalls=12.0 //% of starts where driver stalled at start
-Start Risk StartsDry and StartsWet; -Force: +1 (+%4 Tech Fail and -4 StartStall ) +2 (+%6 Tech Fail and -6 StartStall ) +3 (+%8 Tech Fail and -8 StartStall ) +4 (+%10 Tech Fail and -10 StartStall )
-Maintain: no change of Tech Fail and start stall
-Avoid: -1 (-%4 Tech Fail and +4 StartStall ) -2 (-%8 Tech Fail and +8 StartStall )
RaceAbility=15.5 //Raw Speed at DRY Range 1 - 15.5 (1 is best) RainAbility=10.0 //Raw Speed at Rain Range - Lowest RaceAbility will be 7.0 without bonus
-Fuel Load slows the car by 0,04 per liter. eg: 50lts load will add +2.0 to your base Race/Rainability.
Passing=0.0 //Effects cars cornering speed, %0-%120 limits - Up limit is %70 without bonus
Passing effects your cornering speed;
Tech Fail=50.00 // Aka Crash, it is now like part wears. adds every race on your base, and 100 is where the dice roll ''Yes and No'' if yes you car will suffer with a tech failure, if no you car will survive for the race. after you get your precious tech fail it will be reset to your starting base numbers.
-Training; 1 session costs 1m gives -0.5 to RaceAbility -Testing; 1 session costs 1m gives +5 to Passing Ps: Every race your maximum upgrade limit is 4 points total of both drivers.
-Race Risk; -Overtake: gives -2 to Race/RainAbility, +20 Passing, + %20 to Tech Fail -Rush: gives -1 to Race/RainAbility, +10 to Passing +%10 to Tech Fail -Neutral: no change of Race/RainAbility, Passing and Tech Fail -Easy: +2 to Race/RainAbility, -20 to Passing, -%20 to Tech Fail
-If there is a possibility of rain, you can pick you Weather Setup like; --Rain Setup: Rainability -5.0 Raceability: no change --Dry Setup: Rainability + 5.0 Raceability: -2.0 ---Balanced Setup: there will be no change of stats If the rain possibility is %0 or %100 there will be no risk selection. those risk selections will be reset after race.
-There will be Track Wear Effect. Each track has +/- Crash risk additions to your base stat.
-And we have Brandnew Feature as F1 2002 CUP Season 1!!! :) it will start after Race 3 and as the standings drivers will be seed. No income for this season.

1. If we crash/have tech fail, does my car reset to the abovesaid initial values, no matter at which point along the season the crash happens? 2. Is the materials cost (e.g. Brembo at 20mil) a one off thing? If not, how often (after how many race?) I need to pay for it? 3. Do we only able to earn 2mil (race income & sponsor income) at max per race? 4. Not really understand what does the "point" means in the "maximum upgrade limit is 4 points".

Quote ( Lyee Chong @ October 12th 2017,04:07:13 ) 4. Not really understand what does the "point" means in the "maximum upgrade limit is 4 points". You can spend max 4M$ per race for upgrades - 4 trainings/testings possible, unless you are in negative.

Quote ( Lyee Chong @ October 12th 2017,04:07:13 ) 1. If we crash/have tech fail, does my car reset to the abovesaid initial values, no matter at which point along the season the crash happens? hmm its a great question, when you crash you need to change whole car so yes it will be reset to base ccrash point at anytime.
Quote ( Lyee Chong @ October 12th 2017,04:07:13 ) 3. Do we only able to earn 2mil (race income & sponsor income) at max per race? 1.950k from race 1-2 is max and if you had balls to select rolex sponsor, you may have 5.950k if you can do 1-2 in Qualifying aswell. sponsor pays for every position goal reach in Q and R

i did.
i need your thoughts about Qualifyig for new weather system.
in test it would be rain after half of race and WET risk selectors will have pace. but just before it and in Q it wil lbe DRY so DRY selectors will have better Q times for sure and faster at start of race. we need to avoid that huge benefit.
A: We can use stats without WET or DRY effects on for Qs. and in race i can add Weather Risk effects.
B: 2 sessions of Qualifying in changing weather. 1 DRY 1 WET and pole decider will be as GRPO.
C: 30 mins rain - 30 mins dry for Q session. but with this i cant control AI to jump for flying laps. sı a WET risk selector cars might go out in DRY sections.
these are my options you can add new ones if you have in mind. please give your thoughs before sunday.

B or A for me. B will make qualify a bit more complex, but will spicy the show, but A is the simplest option, who doesn't give any effects of race setup in qualify. C would be competition between dry selections until differences would be made, but if is rain more than 50% of the race would be an interesting battle. So I'm fine with everything

We'll end up with some blocking between people on dry and wet set ups but it'll reflect underlying car pace so won't be too dramatic and we can play around with start risks to make the most of the setup differences.
How are we paying for fuel suppliers, the full 1mil or 3mil before every one of 1st, 4th, 7th and 10th races? Or pay again only if we switch, or something else..?

another good one :) you ll pay for it every 3 races, take it as contract lenght.
eg:
1-3 shell 3 mil 4-6 bp 1 mil 7-10 bp 1 mil 10-13 shell 3 mil
8m for whole season for this team selections.

You can spend max 4M$ per race for upgrades - 4 trainings/testings possible, unless you are in negative. Just on this, does that mean I can test and train each driver 4 times(16mil spend) or only 4 in total(4 mil spend)?
