Remember Vettel in Australia 2009 and the numerous crashes in 2010 and his cry baby attitude throughout 2012 when things didnt go this way,

I can't stand Vettel either. However Hamilton is even more spoilt than him.

Quote ( Jack Benson @ January 6th 2013,21:27:16 )

A lot of journalists include Brundle

Brundle is quite possibly in a relationship with Hamilton, he is that biased towards him
Quote ( Jack Benson @ January 6th 2013,21:27:16 )

I said fastest, not best. A lot of journalists include Brundle think Lewis is fastest and Alonso the most complete.

Vettel and Alonso are both faster than Hamilton. Vettel, Alonso, Button, and Raikkonen are all more complete drivers than Hamilton.

Doesnt add up, Rons probably sour.

I don't think Ron cares that much tbh. Now they have two drivers who have similar racing styles, makes it easier for them to design their car for two drivers rather than it conflicting their likes. Must have always been a problem for them over the past couple of years.

Put it this way, if they put motorsport in the olympics, and they all had the same cars life in A1 GP, I would put a fair amount of money on Hamilton winning.

I think Grosjean could actually pull off something, or maybe even Maldonado. Both quick, talented drivers.

And anyway, who says Hamilton would compete, or any F1 driver for that matter? Plus the chances are further decreased based on the chance motorsport will feature in the olympics :P.

I think Lewis Hamilton fans are more annoying than any other fan, even football fans

Look I like Hamilton cuz he was young, cocky and was able to back it up. I dont think he is the best driver but when the team gives him the order to go all out he just relentlessly pushes his car to the limit that's why I cheer for him.

Doesnt add up, Rons probably sour.

Both sides rejected each other's deal, it doesn't need to more complicated than that. McLaren could have gotten Lewis to stay with more money, Lewis could have accepted the offered contract. For whatever reasons they both decided not to. That was the story as far back as a year or more ago: He had to accept a pay cut 'because of global downturn' but didn't want to, and it never got resolved

Maybe McLaren did offer more in the end (it was hinted). Maybe they'd have offered even more if Lewis was more 'complete' or didn't post team data on twitter etc... Presumably Lewis would still have accepted if the Mercedes offer wasn't so good

But I can't help thinking the whole thing of wanting to go to a different team for more challenge is Lewis self-justifying the decision to be stick to his guns in the McLaren negotiations. It doesn't really make sense... he wasn't exactly winning back to back championships at McLaren and he's hoping Mercedes will come good in 2014 due to the engine changes, having the right people, and reasonable investment, not because he's going to somehow build them up, or else he would have already been doing that at McLaren
