I have gotten an "End of season points bonus" of 2.000.000.

That is very noce, but I cannot find a description of it anywhere in the rules.
The team points bonus and the final standings bonus are both described, but not this one.

Is it a bug, or are he rules just missing a description?

If you look at your 'home' page you will see in the centre box an item called 'Points money', you get 50k per point scored during the season.

It is mentioned in the FAQ but not sure if it is explained somewhere.

As Gordon said, that's the reason:
You got 40 points last season....40*50.000= 2.mill
