lol :)

See! Jokes can be made throughout the game. There doesn't need to be a specific joke phase that means no serious discussion is allowed.

Quote ( Jack Benson @ November 2nd 2014,18:49:44 )

And also making a joke vote which isnt even funny.

3 How good do you all know each other since gpro is much bigger than BR?

GPRO may be bigger but the mafia playing community isn't that big. I feel I know most players here fairly well, apart from those I've asked about earlier, as I haven't played with them before.

RVS or random voting stage is what is more common elsewhere. It's just a reason to put a vote down early on to get things going.

Personally, I think it's pretty much a waste of time unless someone is put under real pressure, which doesn't happen with votes all spread. However, there is a theory that people avoiding putting a joke vote down on someone in the game is a scummy trait. Now that's out there, it's kind of moot, however.

Mike mentioned it in post #9 and I mentioned it in post #11, both when voting Finn for doing exactly that, so it wasn't exactly a secret in this game.

And when I said "out there", I meant the theory had already been made public (in previous game(s)) so people can deliberately avoid such play now, or play the OMGUS card.

If you're trying to be funny, you failed. If you were trying to be serious, nice to see you pick out me while avoiding Mike, who was initially responsible for it.

Any change of answering the serious question I placed earlier now?

It's not my theory, and I don't claim it holds any real weight. If Mike it correct, it was Tim that brought it up in a recent game. I wasn't playing (or, if I was, I must have been dead), as I skimmed it, but didn't read in to the detail, so I remember it being discussed but don't remember how effective it was.

##Vote Finn

old habits die hard , Finn is useless as always

Quote ( Kevin Parkinson @ November 2nd 2014,18:31:17 )

Michal has openly admitted pre-game, and his past game once returning backs this up, that his activity will be minimal throughout, basically lurking the full time (if he even keeps up with the thread at all). As such, unless he shows signs of changing this immediately, should he be considered as a day 1 policy lynch?

dont you think it is too early to speak for policy lynches based on activity ? and imo policy lynching someone based in previous games is just pointless

Kevin do your remember Faith Plus One game when you were scum ? you tried to convice the others to policy lynch Joachim just because he was modkilled the previous game because of inactivity . my gut tells me that your are doing the same thing now .

No, never too early to have a discussion and put someone under pressure. Please see previous search link I posted.

But it isn't previous games if he's stated he will lurk throughout this game. Now if he appears in the thread and says he was joking and intends to be active, then fair enough. But if he reiterates the fact his activity will be mega-low throughout the game, then that's nothing to do with previous games.

Quote ( Andi Ndreçka @ November 2nd 2014,19:12:28 )

I used it as a point to create discussion and I would have been open to his lynch, exactly as I would have been if I was town for the same reason (but without the knowledge he isn't my buddy).

I've also mentioned policy lynches on Jimmy on day 1 in past games, for example, and I've been town in they games. Is there a reason you are trying to push a bullshit meta to say "your gut says I'm scum", immediately after you said...
