Quote ( Paweł Zaburski @ September 15th 2016,17:39:35 ) Guys, yours times are too good... what yours drivers were eating before qualify? nutrients? a piece of banana? :)
It´s all about tyres (ask Keeney :) )
It seems that you have the same tyres than last season?!..... don´t answer, your Q2 will do it for you :)

my farewell season in Elite, so hope for "clean" fight without randoms and other related unpopular incidents.
Good luck to all this season, especially to all newcomers. You have been given by implemented changes in past few seasons very good base position to build up quickly your (in-game) package, so be patient and make wise decisions :-)

why farewell?

mainly due to state of my gpro motivation, i lack any competitive future challenges and race setup becomes just necessary chore for me. so figured its time to let others have shot at racing at top of Elite after occupying this area for past few seasons....and have better shot at sponsors too :-)

|

But soon coming the racing screen :) And your Achievements is 64%, you can do it more ;) this isn't motivated you?

Great speech Jan! I almost believe you ;)
Good luck mate! Great to race against you once again only this time I am way behind you...

This is my last race in GPRO. Thank you all for these moments.

I will miss...Thanks for all Ivan!

I got a random in that lap. That's all... :P

Congratulations Justinas, you nailed it :)

In before rerun. It looks really fishy to be honest. But if it is intended afterall, I guess I got lucky

Gratz for the win, Yannis. Same strategy but half a minute faster than me. I need a mentor. ;)

What changes has driver energy brought to Elite: strategy (if you had to run this race again, would you go with less than 100CT?) or drivers (Justinas just won the lottery)?

|

If I had to run this race again I would have chosen different tyres, not sure I can afford these red ones now :D

blimey O'Riley....
<---- is it just me being noob
or was even some clear track a bit of a killer :)

Welcome in real challenge. It's easy to take BR and finish in top4 almost every race. Try it this time :P

Doesnt become the game cheaper? I mean less ctr? Maybe Level 9 becomes useful?
I guess Justinas went less than 100 ct do be quick till the end and Yannis has better driver attributes?
I didnt expected Top-Elite to fail due to driver energy in the first race.
A teammate went 0 risk for everything and wnt down from 91 to 0. I dont think that will motivate new players.

Kudos to the 4 Elite managers who have already qualified.

Really hated that speed-qual. It's against the spirit of the game. This issue could be fixed if energy consumption during quals would be not absolute, but relative to the current energy level, e.g. 10% (X%) from the current energy amount, e.g. qualifying with 100% would drain 10%, qualifying with 20% would drain only 2%. This way early qualifying would have no real benefits, but late qualifying would still be prevented.

or fix by some other methods, like:
a) qualifying doesn't remove energy at all b) race update grants you some energy ( say 10%) and therefore doing qualifies instantly does not benefit you anymore.
But I agree that current system is not perfect because it greatly rewards managers that are online just after the race update is done.

this is really bad... sometimes between tuesday and friday i have 1-2 hours on friday afternoon to qualify and this is RL related... and i think many managers have the same problems but stay at the game because their lack of time is not a real disadvantage..
never mind!! i think this season will be the one with the most unexpected results and most changes during the races...
the question is. did we need this??

Quote ( Ioannis Dimitroglou @ September 17th 2016,16:36:26 ) the question is. did we need this?? I only see 3 kind of winners here: blockers, OBP and money bankers.
We do still have randoms, blockers are the most annoying thing to watch in a race and complexity for rookies has been increased.
IMO, if something was needed it is less complexity for rookies so they can stay around longer, a little bit easier overtaking and more stability with sponsors. All of them have gone down the drain this season.

despite the fact that I had enough energy for the entire race thinks he's too clever by half with this feature, and it's not right when the great pilots don't have enough energy to reach the finish line they then all night in front of a subtle club chtoli drinking vodka? perhaps, it looks ridiculous waiting for the change to the next race, otherwise "such hockey is not necessary" Ozerov sorry, I my English

And I wanted to develop this theme, tomorrow watching the real formula 1. Because I think circle 40 Rosberg says he is tired and will go to 3 seconds slower. And the great barrier reef is generally 35 round and will reset 4 seconds. well, I think Kvyat will win, he is young energetic, why not. We have the same as you, my out the pilot drove the whole race safely, and the TOP 4 are unable.

this is really bad... sometimes between tuesday and friday i have 1-2 hours on friday afternoon to qualify and this is RL related... and i think many managers have the same problems but stay at the game because their lack of time is not a real disadvantage.. Can someone that qualified immediately confirm whether it really has avoided the Q energy penalty, ie. compared to teammates' drivers that didn't Q yet? The rest of the change is a bit wild imo with no warning, but still very fun and I'm especially glad it's a factor in Elite, but if the Q drop is exploitable it needs fixing asap (not in "1-2 seasons when we've seen how it's worked out" - referring to Stefan's post in response to the Q concerns before the race). Compared to concerns before the race any problem now seems compounded further by the way energy regenerates
Making a few estimates and reasonable assumptions (albeit with only 1 race datapoint) avoiding energy drop in qualifying could be worth 2-3 tenths / lap each race in Elite which would be crazy unfair considering how hard we have to plan to eke out that kind of advantage any other way. I can probably manage to Q immediately most races this season but there's no way I want that kind of advantage over others, nor tbh the stress of doing it
But maybe there's already some subtle calculation going on that makes it work out fair... I hope so
