If you ever lived in the UK you would know not to bother hoping for anything where the weather is concerned. Just wake up in the morning and go with it.

Tbh, the OP has a fair point really. It's a shame the tracks don't have some kind of precipitation rating or something that increases the likelihood of rain on some over others. So, northern europe tracks having a very high precipitation and obviously tracks like Bahrain very low. It would be better I think if there was some kind of other variable...we don't often have a lot of full wet races. However, I seem to remember it not too long ago that we definitely had a season of 6 or 7 mixed weather races. Maybe it was S53! ha :)

I agree!! I live in Cambodia, it rains almost everyday. I know in South East Asia during this time of year, we have the Monsoon to contend with. Weather should be more variable, we aren't living on the Moon.

To be fair though, the races happen on 1 single day in a particular country. Even if that country sees a lot of rain annually it doesnt mean it has to rain on the day of the race. And even if it does then it doesnt mean it has to rain for the whole race.

In recent wet starts I've seen it dry up more or less within the window of parity against starting on the wrong tyres. It's like Vlad wants to make the game more interesting by messing with the weather, which to me isn't the right way to keep people on their toes.

In earlier seasons we averaged a couple of wet races and couple more variable weather races, but in the last couple of seasons there has been almost no full wet races at all.

Exactly. All that 80's hairspray made a hole in the Ozone layer which caused global warming which means no full rain races in GPRO any more.
