... vettel only has a lead through luck and if he wins the championship it will only be through a lot more luck. But the rosberg won last year so anything can happen

Yeah, I would say Hamilton get's more luck than Vettel, for example Canada ? Vettels wing was damaged and he had to pit to change it. He managed from way back, reach back to finish 4th and if he would not have stuck a little under Force India drivers who were arguaging who should try to get 3rd, he would have even finished 3rd. While Hammilton drove whole race uncontested and then sayed it was a good race ? When he won it only by luck ...

Hamilton is good because he's in Mercedes, if you would swap him with Vettel, Hamilton won't be able to win in. Like last race, he asked to let him thrue and try to take Kimi, because he was feeling he has alot more speed under the hood and he will be able to do it, in the end, he didint managed that ... At least he honored the promise and returned the spot to Bottas.

P.S. Both of them will cry about everything ... we just can't hear all of the radio chatter ...

Vettel is such an incredible lucky driver, he was just lucky for the entire career.. those 4 championships.. pure luck and he had the best car.

HAmilton in the other hand, is way better than mercedes..

I've raced though and if anyone did what Vettel did to me I would be taking a baseball bat to their garage after the race.

Are you trying to prove that Vettel is the best?

Maybe Kimi is just too old (or just bad, at least with current cars and tyres) (and has had poor strategies and been helping Vettel).

Jukka!

Kimi is a good driver but 0,1-0,4s slower than Vettel (average), But Vettel the best driver,so not Kimi is slow, rather Seb is too fast :)
Bottas was an undervalued driver, and Hamilton is a VERY overrated driver...so that's why Bottas seems so strong :p

actually once i did. Malaysia 2013 I was in the redbull garage with a team headset on. I watched vettel come in, have his pitstop just 15 yards from me, I heard his order to hold position behind webber as per the team orders to race until all pits were completed

Then I watched on the monitor as he nearly drove webber off the track with webber obviously was not expecting an attack from his teammate (Vettel doesn't understand what teammate means)
All outsiders, including me, were then immediately removed from the garage so I had to return to the club with all the corporate idiots and finish watching the race there.
There was then the incident when he waited in the box to prevent webber changing his tyres in time to complete the final, most important qualy lap

Vettel has shown on many occasions that he is a slimy little turd, I have absolutely no respect for him whatsoever. It isn't a case of me supporting Hamilton because he's British, it's a case of me detesting Vettel because he is detestable

Can you imagine Vettel handing 3rd back to his teammate because he promised to? Laughable!

Well McLaren and theb Ferrari were close every time, but with Hamilton in Mercedes, nobody was even close until this year. And Vettel had Webber as his teammate and he was really good. Vettel is consistent and because of that he will win the championship, it is not all about winning.

Heart says Hamilton (English)

Head says Vettel (consistent, team mate supporting, has the lead currently)

One thing I will say however - Isn't it great to have a (3 way) title fight at mid seasons, with more than one team being involved and even the redbulls are starting to look stronger.

I think its likely Vettel will take one more 5 place grid penalty as I think he has used more engine components at this point of the season, that being said, Merc have hardly been the epitome of reliability so far

Vettel has a history of shooting his mouth off about things and then being shown to be wrong. The jump start and brake testing are two just from this season. He thinks everyone is out there so that he can beat them with no ability to realise everyone has their own agendas and that they usually don't match his. Perhaps this is what makes him a champion but it also makes him an A grade wanker.

Having said all that, he should win the title. He's a one man band fighting against two guys that potentially will take points off each other.

Lewis will beat all records set by Vettel if he has not done or ready.

Vettel was good in Redbull a car made for him.
Since he has switched till this season he has not really shown his 4 X World Champ Quality's

Lewis has Won his titles under 2 manufacturers, if it was not for his bad luck last season he would be a 4 X World Champ for sure.

Lewis imo clearly stands out as the better driver of the 2.

A Vettel fan would argue that while Vettel was dominating Hamilton didn't show world champ quality either.

I agree with Jon Luc, they are both 2 of the best drivers in history. I think this season Vettel so far has done a better job, the Mercedes looks slightly quicker and Vettel is winning, but there's still a long way to go!
