Can anyone say what was the last time any of the tyre characteristics changed before this season? Not interested in price, just the actual characteristics.

I don't think this should be FOBY because it is information that once used to be public, just not anymore. I'd like to know because I want to look into historic sessions to get an idea of the performance of the different tyres, but I need to know how many seasons I can go back into the past while still looking at identical tyres.

To answer your question, the peak temp of Bridgies may be the last change, at a quick glance. Between S33 and S39

Edit: think it'd be good to add these stats to /gb/History.asp

Yokos gained a durability bar S42, I think that was the last one. Surprised it's been so long.

S40 Avonns, Michis and Bridgies all got tweaked, and S39 was when the 3 new brands were added.

Why not ? There are aspects which are public only a limited time. It's up to you to decide if you save it or not.

How'bout this angle:
Shouldn't you and/or your team stay on top of the data in order to make informed decisions ?

If you haven't bothered to save the data, you don't get to benefit from it.

Should there not be any benefit to those who have saved the data ?

I don't think it matters that this kind of data is public.

I would say I am more surprised that Mikko wasn't jumping up and down about the commercial facilities data that's been passed around in that thread. I would say there is more reason that sort of data is kept sensitive than something like this.

Generally I personally only consider things foby if its something that has a significant or more than reasonable advantage with keeping private than sharing widely.

Neither of these fit that category in my book.

But...I don't write the book so, over to Vlad :)

It's more interesting than it is useful. Like (don't ask me why, but) I keep a record of how many cups are present in Elite each season because I am interested to see how many champions stay, come and go, and how many can get back up there. Not useful, but interesting. If it were public data that'd be cool, but I doubt anyone really cares.

I did keep track of tyre attributes between S33 and S43 then got... bored, and stopped collecting it. I'd like for it to be public.
