Sound like a tough race Lorne.
PM me if you want to analyse it together and learn from it.
Else, well, it's just a game, so bye and good luck.

Would you like a hug, Lorne?

There's no such thing as having enough G&T. right?

Right, lets do some quick analysis for Lorne
I assume Lorne is on about her Lap 27 pit stop
Lorne went into the pits when in 2nd place, and came out in 13th Lorne came out behind 5 people who didn't stop yet, all were behind Lorne Lorne was 5th when pit stops had started 3 people also made stops before lap 21 when Lorne was 5th, and were all ahead after Lorne pitted
This is why Lorne lost 10 positions after a pit stop, not through some randomness, but because of the fact everyone was on a different strategy to Lorne
Thanks for coming to my pit talk

I would always refuse to be in a team that takes me as a member

Yeah! Stenvelle, om the other hand, had 13 pitstops and never lost a single spot on them! That doesn't seem fair!
Seriously though, you should stick in there. We all have good races and bad seasons. That is the fun of it!

I don't like it that much either (lets be honest, i won't NOT drink it), it's just that your hairdo screams G&T to me.

I know this is a tough game, boy. It's all about strategy and calculations and sometimes, risks. That's what makes it a very interesting F1 game when most people prefer simpler things like point and shoot.
That's why you've been here for several seasons, you enjoy this game, so don't give it up, try to figure out what's wrong and keep going. Look at the players in higher groups: I don't think they got there not taking the game seriously.

Lorne, your previous 3 drivers were all terrible for pace. Seems you learned your lesson with this driver regarding one skill, but I certainly wouldn't say it's top 5 in any given rookie group, so you can't be too upset with your finishes so far this season.
Regarding teams, you've been given tons of help in a few threads and never heeded advice. Even without a team, it's fairly straightforward to discover how to succeed in Rookie given that every season a load of promoted Rookies drivers are freely viewable on the market. A lot of Rookies are given advice about drivers - one very recently this season started a related thread and was given advice by multiple managers. He acted on it and got his first podium today. So it's really not that hard.
But if, even with all the advice, you still don't want to put in any of your own effort, then honestly I've no idea why you're still playing. You need to try harder, at the very least.

And what I learned in my up and down years from rookie to amateur and back is that in rookie you don't build facilities because they make a difference when you compare pit stop times, you invest in facilities because you don't want to start too far behind in amateur, where pit times seem more logic compared to facility levels!
Traffic on a circuit where overtaking is very difficult makes also a big difference, the higher tier you compete, the more important it is I guess...

94 kg pure talent isn't going to help much either knowing that a 64 kg driver could take 29 liters more fuel/stint and still having an advantage of 1 kg compared to chubby Schumi :-)

From everything I read in the referenced threads i think Miel is not drinking anything in his pic. I have concluded that Miel is performing a Jethro Tull Aqualung cover in the park on the rare Heinekin piccalo.

Bad enough starting further ahead than I finish - maybe your strategy wasn't best one of the first reasons comes to mind is you were on softer compounds so due to 1 lap pace qualified higher but in race mangers with harder compounds made their strategy work. u have to look carefully track characteristics before finalizing your strategy.
Bad enough never making progress. - this is my first season in rookie so what I understand is you should break down season progress in race results and race result depends on a lot of things ...so by experience and continuous evaluation you can get better pitstop - no. of overtakes depends on strategy again if u are on softer compounds than it's natural that player on harder compounds will pass you. it's tricky thing to get the strategy right because u may get lot of traffic with new tyres and loose positions or get clean air with harder tyres to smash lap times
lastly, some races are tough to digest. so was my penultimate one, but I assure you many experienced good managers are out there to discuss with you. One grateful manager that helped me in last race pain was @Josh Clark (M4) and cheers he is here in this thread too.leran from mistakes and don't repeat ... and these experienced peeps are always there for ......

I predict you actually have 3 wispy hairs of bum-fluff having not shaved for 4 months!! ;)
