nothing is a sure thing in this game --- i had two randoms in a row early this season (ruined my plans... i had hoped to be smoking the rest of the season by now to build bank and aggro for pro... but there you go - i am going to have to spend my way into pro with the tough competition in this group - if i am lucky enough to promote that is)

got lucky to be in 1st with no wins :)

I need a win this season!!
Big points needed to create a gap with other competitors for promotion.

apparently not - congrats!

goodluck next season to the people that shut it down early this season:
Wendell Cerqueira
Phillip Bupp
Radulescu Sicu
Ari Rautamies (slammed on the brakes early but started to rise up again near end)

and to the ones that turned it on later in the season:
Patricia Dublanc
Leonardo Chaves

and the one that was pretty steady all season:
Anwar Hafiz

I think at least one from each group will be in the green next season - good luck!

For the ones that shut down early - was it the competition that made you back off or was it part of your plan to build money, car, and train driver? (I think it would have been an outrageous competition had you competed 100% of the season)

ps - i had no interest in winning the cup --- was maximizing money by not buying parts and smoking (but apparently our champ was busy with real life issues?). Had I competed till the end i might have challenged for the championship (but the cost would have been too great).

For me that was the plan all along. I wasn't expecting on shutting it down that early in the season, but I was going to eventually. Quite honestly, I didn't expect to have a good first half so that was why I packed it in so early. I was comfortable in points and didn't want to potentially back into promotion. I had the plan before this season to maintain in Amateur and make a run at Pro this upcoming season.

Congrats to those who promoted. Should be another great season for us here.

Yeah, plus no-one knows about wear and tyre wear so some people might smoke or their statagy might not work. If a medium 1 stop can make it, then I think i could do okay, get back some points :)
