Is it bad for me to admit I got a stiffy when I saw the new livery for Williams?

Well I hope Vettel wins, but after pre season not a chance. The Hulk is my vote!

I really hope that we can again have a season where we have 7-8 winners in the firts 7-8 races, like we had couple seasons ago.

Merc will probally win though.

Rosberg will be strong, as a brit would love to see Button pull something off but will have to wait and see.

Has the feel that if you even finish the race you're going to get in the points from what we seen pre-season.

i think button will have a very difficult season, specially with his teammate.
I don't know when his contract will end, hopefully for him he has a 2y contract.

Good thing they're both running their own car then, because fire and ice seperately are great forces. ;)

He's had a new engine fitted and reports were that an engine change would take hours with these new cars. The engine must've failed hours ago.

E- Fitted not very well by the looks of it...

Yeah about 2 hours for a standard change, 8 hours for part-to-part build.

Now he's stopped on track :D

E: Don't forget it is the whole power unit that needs to be changed, not just the engine. Any problem with a part in the power and needs to be changed, the whole thing needs to be changed.

The link I read earlier had times that were double that (I guess it varies massively from team to team), apparently because it takes so long teams won't bother with FP3 because of the chance of missing qualifying.

btw this is the first time I've heard the new engines and they're great.

Like Johnny Herbert just said, they sound a lot like the old turbo cars, and that's about when I fell on love with F1. So I agree Jed, they sound great ;)

Edit: Extra nice thing is that now we can here the tyres squeal a lot better.

Apparently if Renault engines can run reliably at 100% power the Toro Rosso is quicker than the Ferrari.

First Renault problem is for Marcus Ericsson who is out of practice for now.

I don't, it's what the Mercedes engineers suggested (probably mind games with Ferrari).
