Here we go again... My sponsor PAS (from Rookie, I'm now in Amateur) has decided to let me know that "they are unhappy with your driver's performances".
The contract with PAS specified that:
Q-> What are you expecting to achieve next season?
A-> Mid table position
I'm currently 20th (midtable in AMA, not even Rookie!!!) and my last finish was 18th (midtable in AMA, not even Rookie!!!)
As a consequence, PAS's satisfaction is down to two.
What do they expect?!
For me, this seems very random and glitchy...

For me, this seems very random and glitchy... I agree with you. Expectation is 1 and you do finish in midfield and they are still not happy... Last 2 races I lost 2 sponsor same way... unfortunately it is something that happens all the time...

Just finding out a max-out on Commercial helps with sponsor negotiations is a help, IMO. I did that in hope of speeding things up with even a single sponsor (which now looks like it won't, unfortunately); being able to negotiate with more than one at a time, & not sacrificing too much, is good to know.

I get a sense it's meant to be opaque. For a noob who isn't in a team, making changes to settings & driver skills, but never improving, there is no way to know why there's no improvement. No, I'm not saying there should be a "how to win" guide, but at least "how not to go backwards"...
The "join a team" mantra is not, necessarily, any help, because I'll bet (with all respect to the good ones) there are a lot of lousy teams who aren't any. As a noob, what do I offer a good team? Exactly--nothing. It demands team members who are genuinely generous. That's not exactly universal.
And honestly, IMO the biggest headache I face isn't the competition, it's the game system. Everybody uses it; when I have it figured out, I'll be competitive, no matter what they do. It's the same for them.
No rant intended, so maybe I should stop, now, especially since I've stumbled into good fortune with the team I'm in. ;p

IF I understood you correctly, then yes there is a real chance that another manager gets the sponsor and you'll lose it

Correct Ioannis, if the other manager gets to 100% and has an open slot while you still don't have a slot open, they get the sponsor and you lose it.

I´ve been negotiating with 2 sponsors since starting the game and now after 3 races they signed with other teams, is there a certain type of Sponsor I should target as rookie? Or each time I see someone contest one of the ones I´m negotiating I should drop it and try another one?

Sure. An uncontested one.
There are like 70 of those in your group, that's like 4 per active manager, (~17 mangers)
there is still room for choice

Since you have only done 3 races and they've already been signed, the person who signed it was probably on 70%+ when you started negotiating with them. There's no way you can catch that kind of gap up before they reach 100%.
Rookie has plenty of sponsors on 0% that you can negotiate with alone. Since you will be in rookie next season all of your sponsor progress will be reset, so you probably won't have time to sign any this season. However it's still worth it to negotiate with 1 to see the questions they ask and how much progress you get per race.

You can "fight back" for them. If you started to negotiate first you're ahead in the progress percentage. Maybe pick one to keep negotiating "harder" and "drop" the other.

Forgive me if it’s already been asked... I understand sponsors and negotiations of sponsors reset in rookie at end of the season... however, if I have reached 100% in negotiations and have a space, will they stay on hold for me to use after new season reset, or will I keep them if I accept and season resets?
if not, I’m not sure the point of negotiating for sponsors in rookie given the length of time it takes only for it to be for nothing if your not promoting...

Everything is reset in rookie, to make it as fair as possible. This includes all sponsors and sponsor progress, unless you promote.

Im wondering, is this whole process a one way street? So far i dont see any negotiations here, its more like a job interview. Is there any point where you actually negotiate terms with a Sponsor? Especially when it comes to money and contract lenght?

Negotiating final amount and contract length are the two last things you do when working towards a sponsorship deal =]

This will happen as you progress and reach certain points in the negotiations.
The sponsor at one point in negotiations will offer a sum of money per race.
They will also offer a contract length but at a different point in negotiations.

To a certain extend, you're not far of. They ask, you answer, then they decide if they like your answers ... Should they walk, then they didn't like your answer ... GL
