Quote ( Paulo Pinto @ February 12th 2013,16:58:15 ) Good luck for all first 4, unfortunatelly I don't have a good option for this last race.
Race 17 - Poznan GP - Stas Prost :S
EDIT: Stas need to do something extraordinary tonight to stay in Elite... so.. why not? :)
The best pick today excluding Bridgerocks is Lukas Jonaitis who have FT and starts high... Pedro cant pick him. I believe I dont have a chance anymore after Rimantas' first corner contact at Hungaroring, so I decided to take my best pick even knowing I dont a have a chance since Nuno had the same pick. GL Pedro, Nuno and Rimantas! My aim is 2nd place. :)
ps.: Congrats Mikko making alive the best game of GPRO community!

There would have to be a SC intervation for me to win, as that is not possible i can only hope for the best :P At least Portugal will take the win :D
Good luck everyone :)

That's exactly my dilemma for this race - whether pick my best pick (Lukas) and probably finish 2nd or pick someone else to possibly overtake Nuno and Pedro if their picks fail.

Poznań - Vladislav Erokhin

Same here. I was already racing for the second place game since I knew that you were always in front of me... But that contact killed my chances even for second and changed all the front line championship.
Actually I was speaking with Nuno and said him, before Hungaroring, that this championship was already yours... but I was completely wrong.
Next season we have more fun for sure :)

Quote ( Nuno Vicente @ February 12th 2013,15:47:30 ) I wonder if Pedro can pull another rabbit out of the hat.

With only seven elites within 2 minutes, there was little change to the overall standings of the game in the end.
Congratulation to Pedro Diogo for hanging on to your lead and winning the fifth edition of the Elite OBR Challenge! You are now the only winner of a 17 race season that hasn't also won the Elite championship. Well done to Nuno Vicente and Rimantas Sagatas as well for also finishing on the podium.
Thanks to everybody who took part! This has been the most tightly contested edition of the game.
Unfortunately, I won't be hosting this game next season. I'm going to take a break from GPRO and won't therefore be here regularly enough to host anything. If someone else wants to host season six or any another similar game, you'll have my blessing to do so.

Well done Pedro, You kicked our Elite asses this time.
Thanks for hosting the game Mikko. Hopefully there will show up any great soul who will take the hosting from You for the next season.
