To be fair that probably is wrong. Abu Dhabi is an Emirate. Would this not be too different to using the Catalonian flag for the Barcelona track?

Not to be too picky, the GP in Montreal is the Canadian GP, hence a Canadian flag.

GPRO lists Imola as being in San Marino, and it shows the San Marino flag, because that track has hosted the so-called San Marino Grand Prix on many occasions.
Yas Marina hosts the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix (not the UAE Grand Prix) so it's not totally illogical to use the Abu Dhabi flag on GPRO. Using two different flags on the site is a unique inconsistency though. :)

Hahah, I defer to my American cousins but the 'Stars and Stripes' is prominent always, whatever the event. Go USA. :-)

UAE = EU
Each emirate has its own flag as well as european countries have their own. No?

UAE is actually a country, they have their president, vice-president, PM, an official capital and all.

The EU also has a president and vice president
It has an unofficial capital in Brussels which is the seats of the European Commission, Council of the European Union and European Council

UAE is a country, the likes of Abu Dhabi and Dubai are effectively emirate city’s since the kingdom united. they are very patriotic with regards to the UAE flag since the seven emirates federated in 1971. i was there around 15 years ago when the worlds tallest flag pole was constructed with the UAE flag still flying proudly today. However it’s no longer the tallest flag anymore. it’s the best weekend of the year :)

Hey, give San Marino a chance, it barely has enough flat space for a football field and you want to put an F1 trach there. It would be more WRC than F1.

But the EU is a political/economical union, not a country.
Ok, we're missing the point in this one.
