Incredible Cinderella story for Poland to make the quarterfinals, but I guess that it ends here, we're the weakest team remaining + all bots are already eliminated, so I don't see the chance to get just another win.
To be fair, our group was going to produce an underdog story either way, a managerless reigning world champ, a dark horse, and two of the worse rated sides in the entire tournament. If anybody got tickets to these games they were in for a thrill.

I know itll be a long time thing and could even be in the works but is there any way we could have a head to head record against other players. I'm intrigued on who the biggest rivals are
Also GG Marvin. It's always tough going against you because of how unpredictable you can be! Evident with how tight the game was overall with only 2 rounds having more than 2 wasted and 4 wins with a winning margin of 1

I know head-to-head can be both valuable and interesting, but I don’t really have a straightforward way to compile all the seasons together and don’t want to put in the literal days of work to make it possible...
however, I can tell you almost certainly that it would be Balint and Marvin.
1) both teams have played every season in the top flight, which is 16 meetings right there.
2) they have a number of cup titles between them and have met in the semifinals or final on a number of occasions, plus a few more in earlier rounds
3) and they’ve been in the same World Cup group two of, if not three of, the four world cups.
4) and that’s not to mention b-teams.
Pretty tough to beat that.
Edit- didn’t even realize until now that Groups B and D eliminated A and C in the quarterfinals.

WALES(28) vs. ESTONIA(29)
ROUND 1
It has been a long long journey to get this far. Estonia and Wales both 2-1-0 in the group stage and unable to be overcome in the knockout. The one thing that could point to the probable result of the match is that there is yet to be an upset in the knockout of this world cup... but since there has been at least one in every previous world cup, does that mean Estonia is actually in trouble here? Well its Wales who take the early lead. It could have gone better for them, but since both teams wasted three, it is a solid point to start the match.

ROUND 2
Wales double their advantage as both teams waste three again! Estonia have put themselves on the ropes early in this final. The Estonians have spent six to no result and Wales have spent fourteen when they only needed eight. So that's six wasted by both and a two-nil lead for the underdogs.

Estonia salvages some pride to make the match a close one in the end. It's only the second 4-3 final in four attempts, with S12 providing a 5-2 and S8 providing a 3-1. But in the end, this knockout for the S16 SSFL World Cup did indeed get its upset, much to the heartbreak of Estonia. It was a hard- and well-fought tournament by both teams, and Wales claim their trophy. Thank you all so so much for playing, and I'll see you hopefully again in ~5 weeks or so for the start of S17 of SSFL!

Wales started the tournament off with a 3-3 draw against England, and never looked back. There was a slight speed bump in a replay against Sweden. But they got here in the end and won it all. Congrats Gareth!
