On that topic, the EU are now going after Google for the abuse of it's Android dominance in the market.

That's amazing. Considering Apple have pretty much stolen every idea they have ever had.

OK, they're going after them for tax avoidance, but then everyone is going after everyone else for that.
Amusingly, I've been sat through a money laundering training session all morning. Before you ask, it wasn't a How To session lol.

Not sure where else to post this without creating a new topic, 'iphone help' should do though.
I use my phone 95% of the time for this game. When I've navigated to a certain page and swipe back for previous page, i automatically log out. Sometimes happens when hitting the 'home' button too. Does anyone have any advice for this little annoyance (other than get a different phone)?
I'm not sure if it's a phone setting, a site setting, or a just-the-way-it-is-so-shut-up-and-get-on-with-it scenario...
Any advice much appreciated... :)

What are your cookie settings? (Settings > Safari)

Does it remain logged in if you browse normally without pressing back?

The same happens when I hit 'home'.

I use my wife's old one as an iPod. Think I have seen this behaviour, but not paid much attention to it. It is almost like the back swipe is taking you to the wrong page (or deleting the cookie)
Not sure I see this on other websites either

Yup that describes my annoyance perfectly. I don't see the same behavior on other sites either, which is why i wondered if there was a site or phone setting i needed to play with.
It's no biggie obviously, just wondered if there was a fix :)

Just realized I have seen this on my Blackberry too when pressing the back button (only on this site)
Must be a cookie issue

Guys,
do you think £180 for a mint condition (not used) iphone SE with 128gb is good/bad deal?
the short and curlies of it all being that I need an apple produc, my old 160gb ipod Classic is barely compatible with iTunes anymore...it hates sync-ing up to it and I have to wind back to iTunes 11 to get the thing going. Which is annoying cos they only stopped making them in 2014, and literally as soon as iTunes 12 came out, Apple decided to not support iPod Classic with it. Which was jolly nice of them.
I won't be using this device necessarily as a phone, mainly a music player and around the house kinda use (I prefer having two devices cos it just saves battery drain as I use my music player A LOT). I quite like the look of the SE cos it will fit nicely in a pocket. This is why I hate all modern phones, cos as a music player, when running or doing anything beyond a stroll, they're a pain in the pig to fit in a pocket. Hence why i'm looking to iphone's with the best spec/space I can get for the money.
i did consider getting the ipod Touch that came out last year that I believe uses the same processor as an iPhone 8 (A10 fusion). But it costs £250. For me, spending £70 less on a mint conditioned iphone SE seems a better deal. Though, if IOS firmware updates are to stop anytime soon for the SE (i think it uses the same chipset as iPhone 6S), then I guess the better deal would be the touch. I mean, at least its guaranteed to to last a few more years.

Where do you get your music? If it's from Spotify or iTunes, I believe it's a good deal. If not, take a look at the Sony NWA45. Really, really good stuff for more or less the same money

Seems a good price (been in Canada for too long, so don't know what new devices over there sell for.
It is an older device, but I use my wife's old iphone 6 as a gaming/music device and still seems to be operating fine. allows Apple Music, etc. and still getting updates (currently on v12.4.3)
Just watch battery life on them. Batteries are notoriously bad, especially 2 years down the road

Stuart I use my SE for almost same purpose and as a back up phone. So far no problems with it.

Thanks for the responses.
I went ahead and ordered it and it arrived today. It's in very nice condition aesthetically, but I noticd after a full charge to 100%, it then dwindled down to 77% in a very short period. I noticed it said it has a maximum battery life of 82% in the battery settings tab. However, I then did a reboot using home/power button press for 5 seconds, re-charged back to 100% and it hasn't drained so fast as it did after the initial one. I wonder if the slew of updates (including IOS 13) maybe drained it that fast initially, IDK...I'll see how it behaves over the next 24 hours. If the drain drops, I might raise a compaint and see if they'll replace the battery. I think 82% maximum is a bit below what I'd expect of something considered to be mint. I mean, everything else is fine with it.
Its nice to hold a device again that actually fits in the palm of your hands and doesn't fiil up or weigh down your pocket. Apart from the battery thing, which I think can be resolved, nice little gadget. Packs a punch for quite a small thing. Nice to see it still gets apple support. Maybe not much longer I guess!
