Since drivers have 0-3 favourite tracks, what if some drivers would have "hated track" ? Max 1 / driver.
It would be opposite of favourite tracks.
- more driver errors
- slower the car
- sponsors wouldn't complain when driving on hated track (so you don't lose sponsors)
- add an extra point if winning points, two extra points for victory
Then, you could add an achievement: win race that is hated by the driver.
(I know. Now, you'll say : Don't we have enough randoms?) :)

it will piss off but more closer to realism i think, all drivers has at least 1 nightmare track within its carrier,

I don't like the extra point part at all.
The idea itself, meh, I'm not for or against it really, just it would need to be without the extra points imo.

I have a little idea in my own head that this is already a feature....that each driver has a database of tracks that they're faster in, ranked. Top 3 show, and the last one would have a speed disadvantage that isn't showing.....
.......but I'm way too busy and lazy to prove it so just take it like you would take inspirational career advice from a homeless man...........

Why to slow the car? Slow the driver :) And without extra points and don't lose sponsors. Will make this game more unpredictable.

I can live with this , however just as FTs are on driver profile so should HTs.

Just cam a brilliant idea. That to change hated track based in his results/ randoms in last 3 seasons. So probably will change from season to another season.

People would simply sandbag the race and put no effort into it?
|
|
|

That would leave the sponsors unhappy and hurt the motivation.
I like the idea though. It would add more importance to a well planned season, than just going with the wind and relying on free online tools.

What about Rosberg? It was his FT before the race in 2016. :)

not sure but let me trow something in here
Hated tracks if approved should only apply to those that has favourite tracks 1-3
those with 0 favs should have 0 hated ones, Mellow fellow style.
Edit: Something wrong with your edit button kiskinov? or are you chasing post count like a Finn wannabie? :)

Why not change the FT thing completely, so drivers prefer track characteristics (P,H,A) so they automatically do better on some tracks than others?

Hmm. Would hated tracks show up once the driver is generated or in the middle of his career? Could I fire my driver and pay no compensation if a new hated track showed up? So basicly a new skill to make drivers weaker (we have too many that take too much OA room already)? If I win on a hated track would that track become favourite track?
I would consider this as a viable suggestion until you mentioned "extra points".

I thinks it's a good idea, but not the extra points! If you get from points on a track your driver hates then it's a good day at the track isn't it?

Just think of it this way I am in my 1st season in Pro I get a driver that has 1 hated track in rd 10 I pick different tyres as I know I need an advantage somewhere .
The 1st 9 races are not great weather for me and I struggle to Make a go and have no where near points.
Rd 10 comes along and I have perfect weather but have a hated track why would I want to keep playing ?

the drivers dont have a hated track,
only favorites
very difficult a driver dont like a track, very difficult.

I like this idea without additional 2 points and what Hakan suggested about 1-3 balance

Why do you need to make this game more and more "synthetic"?
Different tyres, Fav. Track, boost laps....and now, hated tracks.
Make it simple. Simple is better, and the "luck factor" has less impact.
