Am I the only one who will never take the certification?
Am I the only one who thinks the test is kind of silly?

it is only a nice cash bonus if you make it, but not important in begin... when u in master and have no certification... well... you could be made fun off

I only did it for the cash bonus.

In addition to the cash bonus of 3 million, there is also the pride of approving it ... Well, few succeed ...

I did it because my teammates were calling me "uncertified manager" XD

It's been a while but I remember learning a few thing in order to pass the certification.
If I recall, it took me four times to pass. It must have been a precursor of my Gpro career :))

Didn't pass it after 3 times?
1) it's a small bonus if you do the test and succeed.
2) it's meant to make you aware that you don't need to open silly topics because you need to learn to use the search in Forum
3) and you learn some details in the game which you otherwise wouldn't know
are the questions silly? some yes, some no, its the same as in life some things make sence on why and how you do things others not.

I'd rather make certification mandatory in such a way that you can't promote to Ama if you haven't passed.

The reason I did the certification test was because I thought it might help me get into a good team. And while I did end up getting into a good team, I think the certification test had very little to do with that. Certainly when I look at candidates who wish to join my team, the certification test doesn't play a role in what I think of them.
Ultimately the certification test doesn't mean you are a good manager or a bad one. But it also can't make you any worse. And maybe it does show that you weren't lazy and can actually put some time into achieving something.
