HOW TO PLAY
• For returning players, post ##confirm to confirm your return to the game.
• To join, post ##Establish [Insert Real City Name] [Insert Realistic Team Nickname], and indicate which BOT team on the Teams page of the sheet you would like to replace.
• New players may join at any time during the season.
• Returning players may change ONE of: City, Nickname, or Colors/Crest per season for league continuity.
The full rules are in the sheet. But basically, the general idea is this:
• you control a team somewhere in a system of four leagues–which have promotion and relegation between them.
• you also have a "team rating" which you spend every match across seven simultaneous rounds against your opponent.
• the player who wins more rounds, wins the match. Play everyone in your division for a full season, and see who is champion, who promotes, who relegates, and who wins the cup.

THE SETTING OF SEASON 16
Monte Carlo has reclaimed the title of League Champions. After claiming the title way back in Season 6, it took nine more seasons to do it again– though they did win two Cup titles during the eight seasons between.
Albuquerque took the title race down to the last day essentially, after beating powerhouse Andijan in the Cup Final. They'll match Monte Carlo with the best rating this season, and seem to have been growing as a threat over the past several seasons.
For the first time in the history of the game, you could say we enter a season with Andijan having gone the previous two seasons without a trophy of any kind... but you also could look down a division to the Championship, where Andijan II has won it now in back-to-back seasons... the greatest success the team can achieve.
The Premiership set itself up to be quite competitive last season, and maybe looks less so this season. Monte Carlo and Albuquerque sit alone at the top of the ratings. With no loan deals yet in place, however, things could still change.
Looking at the Cup, the same favorites emerge as those for the League. However, you can never count out Andijan from making a run, and THREE teams outside the Premiership have a rating of 23 this season... Rockhampton (CH), Newport (CH), and Los Angeles (D1).
In the Premiership, watch out for dark horse contenders in Singapore and resurgent Season 1 champions Havirov.
Finally, Nation's League play wraps up this season, with the top sixteen teams qualifying for the World Cup to be held between S16 and S17.

Any thoughts on in the future potentially getting rid of "B" teams and shrinking back down to three divisions? Just curious.

Division 2 is pointless as it stands, as it is all bots. Unless there is a large influx of players, I see no issue removing this (unless needed for cup matches)
3 divisions seem about right. The 2nd teams do add some competition in the lower division, so don't mind them there. Removing them may lead to a player having nothing but bots to play against. But if there was an influx of players, what to do about them then

Personally (although I appreciate Gareth comments re the BOTS), Div 2 gives people a chance to join at any time of the season rather than having to wait for someone to go inactive so if it ain't broke, don't fix it.....

Haven't done the draw yet :)
And in regard to everyone's comments on the B-team/4th tier situation, I appreciate all of them so far, and more are welcome. They'll probably stick around through this season and next for sure, but I feel like such a change would also beg the introduction of some other new feature. So I'll be thinking about that too.
Also, Keith, you said you wanted to loan from a BOT at the end of last season, but if you want a rating point this season, you're gonna have to find a human player, because rules state you must loan TO a Bot prior to getting one back from them (to prevent people from joining and easily bringing in two loans straight away–one human, one BOT– and then just leaving the game when the season ends, or something along those lines.)
