Alright, that's everyone then...
Going back to random draw for every round of the Cup. More dramatic that way XD

So I received submissions from 14 people, and did not from 4 people. And of the 14 that submitted, 4 were off by a point or two (which means I remove points from the end).
So I got 10 normal submissions, and 8 that were either incorrect or missing.
Doesn't give me a lot of motivation...
Do I need to merge this with Strategy League? (Reduce the league size, bring in things like sponsors, playoffs, etc.)

I'm sorry to hear that, I hope the game continues as it is now.
I imagine the start of the season is always more difficult, until people get used to their new Ratings. But that doesn't explain the missing submissions of course.

I was wondering about just reorganizing the teams again...
First Division: 8, 10, or 12 teams.
Second Division: 8, 10, or 12 teams.
Academy Division: 8, 10, or 12 teams.
There would be no promotion from the Academy division, but it would be basically just BOT teams and new managers, who jump in and take control of a team that goes inactive for three or four consecutive submissions or something like that. Would help keep competition up and limit inactivity.
Perhaps Champions could still have optional B-teams that stay in the Academy division.

SSFL Cup - Preliminary Round
Nothing crazy to report here. But the draw for round one was probably the most bizarre draw I've ever made in this game...

Division Matchday 1
Interestingly, no team in the Premiership won four rounds to open the season. Two 3-3 draws and victories 3-0, 3-2, and 5-2 set us on our way. Specifically, the champions were held by newly promoted Melbourne... and the Cup holders were victorious by forfeit over Gokyo. But its Sao Paulo on top after the first match with a huge win against Antananarivo.
The Championship is going to be very interesting again this season... the top rated teams in the division drew, while Warsaw was gifted the top spot despite one of the lower ratings... but Buffalo has plenty of experience here to make a difference... and the b-teams always factor into the results.
Division One saw Rockhampton II beaten, but really didn't see any surprises. Everything is already pretty well lined up as many could have predicted.
Division Two is... well... Division Two. The top two rated teams are at the top and have been drawn against each other for Round 1 of the cup.

Division Matchday 2
Is it finally the season for Albuquerque to take the league title? They've got Singapore next, one of the four teams sitting two points behind them after two matches. Two of the others, Melbourne and Andijan, go head-to-head. And Dudley, the fourth and currently best off on differential, looks to continue their upturn of form since the latter part of last season against Sao Paulo and potentially challenge for the title this season. That same Sao Paulo team have a win and a loss so far and sit pretty much in the middle. Below them sit the champions! Two draws in the opening two matches is four dropped points already. Once again, it isn't easy to be on top. Since Andijan's four-peat in seasons two through five, no team has won back-to-back titles. Havirov, Antananarivo, and Gokyo have gained no traction so far this season. But the fact that there are three of them should encourage each of them.
In the Championship, Warsaw is off to the races. Overall, five draws in ten matches so far in the division. Lots of dropped points.
In Division One, still almost entirely without surprises. Wins in the top half, and losses in the bottom half. This could be one of the toughest promotion battles we've ever seen in Division One.
In Division Two it is a little more chaotic and unpredictable. For now, the top two remain the top two.

Unfortunately due to the outbreak of COVID-19, the league cannot put the teams' safety on the line and must postpone all games...
...not really. But in all seriousness, due to an unforeseen family gathering, I need to push the next deadline back to Tuesday. Hopefully I'll get reminders out over the weekend sometime!
And in even more seriousness, good health to all of you! Take care of yourselves in these days of sickness.

SSFL Cup - First Round
Some quite remarkable things happened in the Cup this week!
It all started with a forfeit, as the two Rockhampton teams were drawn against each other in the opening match of the round. This was followed by one of the big matches of the round, where Andijan come out on top of a back-and-forth match with Sao Paulo.
As favorites, Hull saw off fourth tier Hamburg. It took Buffalo until a replay, but they got the job done against Upington.
Then, Monte Carlo II pulled one out of their magic hat, beating Premiership Antananarivo without replay despite a deficit of three rating points. Antananarivo II fared better, dispatching Sidempuan by a margin of three.
Los Angeles was beaten soundly by Havirov, while Diest was beaten even more soundly by Newport. Havirov II waltzed through by default over Gokyo, and Motril upset division rivals Warsaw.
Similarly to Antananarivo, Dudley was beaten here with Dudley II advancing. The first team fell to the division champions, Monte Carlo, while the second team defeated Stettin.
Kyoto beat London, and the Cup holders saw off a dangerous Andijan II side. Singapore and Nantes won by default over Buenos Aires and Melbourne respectively.
In the end, FIVE PREMIERSHIP TEAMS go out of the competition, and now, more Championship teams (6) remain than Premiership teams (5). Four from Division One, and Kyoto is the lone representative of Division Two.
The match of note in the draw, is where Albuquerque now moves on from their win over Andijan II to try to replicate the result against Andijan in a rematch of last season's final.

Division Matchday 3
Are winning four rounds in a match a thing of the past? It's been surprisingly rare in the Premiership this season. There was once a time when you could count on multiple 4-3 results every week, but in fifteen matches, we've had 4 earned by two teams and 5 earned by one. In the end, it is Albuquerque's defense on display, as three rounds against is the fewest in all four divisions. They're trying to run away while Andijan tries to keep pace. The other mid-table teams are all not out of the running yet, but the champions did finally get into the win column today. Havirov and Gokyo have a long way to go, but likely only the former really has any chance to give it a go.
In the Championship, Warsaw leads the way in a bid to return to the Premiership. Just like the Premiership, two teams sit on three losses. Interestingly, the five teams that won today occupy the top five spots.
LA is off to the races in Division One, and there is a clear divide forming between the top five and the bottom five.
Division Two has no surprises. Kyoto first and London second.

SSFL Cup - Second Round
Buffalo beats Kyoto. It wasn't the most convincing, but didn't ever look to badly in doubt for them.
Hull stuns Dudley II in remarkable fashion.
Andijan is downed again by the Cup holders in a repeat of last season.
Motril doesn't show and Singapore walks into the quarters.
Antananarivo II is finally ousted after a solid run, by Havirov.
Monte Carlo II upsets Rockhampton. Could this be a surprise Cup run from one of the b-teams?
Newport handles Nantes easily.
And Monte Carlo comes out on top of Havirov II to join their b-team in quarters.
The draw does the unthinkable and pairs the two Monte Carlo teams together in the quarters, ending the b-team's dark horse run and granting free passage to the defending league champs into the semi-finals. And Cinderella story Hull draws Newport in a non-Premiership matchup.
Havirov and Singpore have the only all-Premiership affair, both teams dreaming of their first cup title. And finally, Buffalo draws the holders.

Division Matchday 4
Three wins from Albuquerque and three defeats from Havirov mean nothing when the latter defeats the former. Andijan can only draw to close the gap by a point, but the gap is closed and the leaders fall for the first time, putting the race back on.
Sinapore and Sao Paulo sit third and fourth, each just two points back of the top spot after wins this week. Then, in fifth and sixth spots, Dudley and Monte Carlo are, surprisingly, unbeaten, though still in mid table with three draws a piece.
Antananarivo and Melbourne are struggling to gain traction, but there's a long way to go. Gokyo don't look to be making any ground.
In the Championship, the story is the same. The top team drops a game, though this time to Cup absentees Motril, allowing them to find fourth. Newport and Rockhampton heat up the promotion and top spot race by closing the gap to a point.
Another unbeaten 1-3-0 fifth place team in Buffalo, and then the three b-teams in the division. And Finally Diest and Buenos Aires are quickly losing sight of the rest.
Hull is the top-five team to drop points this week, but still all five teams are gonna make this competitive.

VERY VERY VERY Sorry everyone. I'm almost done with results, but I was mulling over the odd-ness of Mateusz submitting for SL but not this... so I checked and sure enough I had missed him in the last set of reminders.
I'm going to post all the results that I can (but not the Championship or NL League D).

Division Matchday 5
PREMIERSHIP: The champions are having a dream season... except that the dream isn't a good one. They're above the bottom three for now, but they've dropped a lot of points and don't look too strong in the title race. Sao Paulo and Singapore remain within two points of Albuquerque. Andijan drops off the pace, and the good news for Dudley is that they're still unbeaten– the bad is that they've drawn four of five matches to a total of seven claimed points and eight dropped. Havirov is on back-to-back wins after a slow start and Antananarivo is also starting to pick up a few points. Melbourne have gone the other way however after a decent start and Gokyo won't be passing anybody this season.
CHAMPIONSHIP: As mentioned above, a reminder error from me has put this result on hold.
DIVISION ONE: With their immense rating for the third tier, Los Angeles is looking very strong and remains favorite to win this division. Monte Carlo II also tallies one in the win column to stay within two points, and Hull wins to overtake both Rockhampton II and Antananarivo II. Manaus gets a rare win for a bottom-half team, but the bottom five are still much weaker than the top five.
DIVISION TWO: The usual level of excitement and predictability this week in Division Two, and rumors of it ceasing to exist next season seem to have surfaced. Is this hinting at some greater plan behind the scenes? Surely the coming weeks will tell us that.
