After last race the skills of my drivers dropped from 104 to 84, how is this possible?

As I understand drivers don't feel properly supported with cash flow issues
|

Thomas read the rules about what happens when your balance goes more than $-15m negative, that should help you understand ;)

From what I can see, your driver lost all of one skill because you went over -$15m which does that to your driver. :)

You got below 15 million negative, that will impact your driver motivation and the OA if motivation was high enough.

And possibly help you and others to continue with a certain driver (in rookie only!!! and when he's still under contract) when you've such balance before race 17 ;)

Welcome to "the game". Maybe if you get to just -14.999.999 the OA will shoot up right back to were it was. He's still getting paid salary and bonus but he "feels" for your, and his threatened wealth. Just put that buck back and all should be fine.
Would you believe "good" managers go that negative on purpose. They obviously don't feel for the driver the same way the driver feels for them.

I discovered that this was actually a pretty bald and good move to upgrade the whole car, I reached podium and I can keep my driver. I heard from my mentor the explaination about the -15 mil, overlooked that in the rules (so many of them haha).

I think it would have been a better idea to wait until R17 to do such move. Now you might lose your driver to motivation gained during races 16 and 17.

Just make new offers on the driver market and cancel then untill you are negative enough to keep the driver you want in rookie.
