You probably didn't put enough fuel in your car, or had some other race events. Try to look at your race analysis to understand why your driver had to pit when you didn't expect him to ;)
Glad you enjoyed your race and pick up the positives! But 6 pitstops in a rain race is about a handful too many ;) In most races it is... Solution? well initially more fuel per stop (& in dry harder tyres)
Once you got your're tyres right (somewhere around 85% wear at first per stop) then maybe experiment alternatives. That's if you do things yourself. A (decent) team can give you better alternatives although I strongly recommend you, to understand the why...
