Vor leeren Rängen, festigt Joachim Rang, Rang 1
Vor den, wegen Corona Maßnahmen, leeren Rängen des Österreichrings holt Joachim Rang seinen zweiten Titel. Mit dem Sieg im ersten Rennen der Saison in Sakhir, übernahm er die Tabellenführung und gab sie nicht mehr her. Millionen von GPRO Fans waren gestern online dabei, als er den Punkteabstand zu seinen Verfolgern uneinholbar machte und zur verdienten Titelverteidigung fuhr.

Congratulations on title number two Joachim, fantastic effort!
This one looked on the cards for a while, but we shouldn't take for a granted what a great effort it is to win a GPRO championship, especially back to back ones!

Thank you guys for your congratulations, two in a row is nice indeed!
However this is probably one of my weakest GPRO seasons with lots of mistakes and questionable decisions - the reason it was so easy is purely because nobody challenged besides me.
So I have a bit of a GPRO blues going on and on top of that a family matter I need to attend to, so my joy and activity is rather limited at the moment.

You shouldn't be so hard on yourself, it was your own prior good management that created the room for error you enjoyed this season.

Congratz (officially) @Joachim Rang (E) what a legendary setup you've done to piece this title run together. Driver is only turning 32 and everything else is good too. This was one of the rare seasons where the odds against one person were very small from the turn of the season. Will the man be able to catch the GOAT's @Roland Postle (E), Leandro & Toygun? Time is on his side :)
Now, the Nuvolari vs Malati battle continues, in even more numbers and with even more perfect strategies. Elite S82 is going to be a fun watch :)

I guess it wasn't fun to see tyre decisions at R1 and realise it would be so easy to make it.
It is expensive to take BR just like that.
Still - you made it two times in a row. Congratz Joachim!

Congrats Joaquim! If anything, lack of time and personal difficulties make the title even more worth it.
