and The Grand Daddy of F1 Calendar, Monte Carlo
Even if we never saw another race there again, Monte Carlo is in the history of F1, great moments for all eras. I didn't use it as an example for this reason. Baku and Singapore are newer races with tracks that could be replaced, however there are no plans for that.
Personally I think that while the IRL Grand Prix shouldn't go ahead, in the event that it does I wouldn't have an issue with it being added to reflect historical accuracy. I think it is more important to mark the fact that it happened than "boycott" it when the Saudi government doesn't make any money off this game. I don't see it as any endorsement of their human rights record especially when we already have tracks from countries with similar or worse records.

Please keep politics away from f1 and gpro .It is a sport and will only benefit the country and make the fans happy as we will see a new fast street circuit .
I don't really agree, firstly because of the events of last summer in America were mentioned on the forum without being flagged, and while I do generally think that politics and sports don't mix, we are individuals seperate from the website or Formula 1 and should be allowed to express our opinions especially given F1's own "initiative", as conflicting as it is.

The idea that human rights are "politics" is amusing. But tracks from other countries with poor human rights records are included so I don't imagine it would be a reason to exclude KSA.
I don't think you can seperate politics from human rights, as much as a certain motorsports celebrity may pretend otherwise.
There is no need for 3 separate posts mate. Last summer if the events we're talked about in forum I don't feel it was right to do so. I was not playing the game then.
First of all I was responding to your post, secondly the cat is kinda out of the bag now. We can't say that some topics are human rights issues and include them and say that others are political and ban them, that's way too arbitrary.
Well if you want to mix politics into the sport and talk about "Human Rights" then a lot of western countries will come to the fore too and that includes a lot of nations.
Maybe Hans can design the track to be littered with the remains of involuntary workers
Yes he can... and he already started work on the basics of the circuit. IMO we need to keep the politics out of GPRO. If you wanna make a stand, use a black livery e.g.

You're right, that was a bit out of line from my side.
Black livery is a very good option, thanks for the thought. It's not up to the staff to make political statements.
