Probably my last shot at points. We'll see how this plays out. Just too far behind on training this driver...
Uuugh complete strategy = fail for me today. Well this was fun.
yeah, shame for you and Jordan. still 2 races to go ;)
Great work Joe and Lukas.
gratz to all point scorers.

And with the help of Bialek, A28 has a new leader in Joe Walker, who puts up 1x0 against Dubravko. Thrilling finals.
Satisfied with my 14th tho a top 10 finish would have been welcome, but I cant risk getting into the extra promotion slots, so I have to live with it.
Congrats to the winner, podium guys and point scorers today!
Peter conquers a +5 points that grants a new season in this amazing group. And Ofir has now 2 points and enters the fight for retention.

Thanks Rogerio for your attention! Yeah, it was nice to finally make it out of the relegation group. Now I feel I can take it a little bit easy, and hopefully get my driver a little bit fitter for next season.

Thanks chaps :)
Rogerio, let me just remind you of post #1585.

That was rude, Mr. Broadland!
Went back to the statistics to check my 'performance' back then (S25.R15):
+58.559s
So, Thomas did take my place in the A28 Hall of Shame in this aspect.

Hehe;-) Well what can i say..
I hate loosing, if I can´t be the fastest I sure as hell aint gonna be the second slowest;-) Wuhuu..
My only goal this season was to stay in amateur and to train my driver.
Boring as hell but i hope to be competitive next season;-)
Yeah, imo next season will be much more competitive for promotion, like s25. Will be fun to watch ;)

Yeah, looks like I may have failed, on the same exact goal ha

Hopefully the rain today will help my driver get the points I need to stay here for another season.

A surprise that Wódz put the wrong tires in Q2. And even more surprisingly that I ended up with the fastest Amateur time (!). New season is promissing.
Good luck to all in their objectives.

Outcha!
Zdenek just had a start crash in Elite. He's fighting for the 4th title ... that hurts.
Rogerio, what kind of strategy are you on? :S come on, get serious :p
+5 laps to stop?
I took the opportunity to make a little experiment on rain tire wear at dry tracks :-))
Also, I'm estimating the time loss for a wet setup
Cant do this next season

Damn, I need out of this train I'm stuck in, stupid driver error.
damn Joe, from where did you pulled that 20s pit ? :)
Damn, screwed up my fuel and will get no points for it.
Nice will for Lukas. Congrats all scorers.
Joe Walkers takes home the A28 Cup for S26. Well done.
For me, I've secured the 5th in standings (and mostly the money it brings).
Stay tunned next for the exciting finals of the championship. Dubravko 114 x 118 Walker.
And we had a last moment turn in the Elite championship fight today. Check that too next race.

With the 4 promotion spots now sealed, i would like to congratulate Dubravko, Piotr, Lukas and Rogerio on your Promotions to Pro, and I will wish you all the best of luck on retaining, and further improving your GPRO careers :) Well played.
To all those retaining, shame i couldn't be with you for 1 more season!
And to those of you relegating back to Rookie, maybe our paths will cross sooner than you think, if i decide to continue playing this great game.
Goodbye one and all, and Happy Racing :)

Wow, i really didn't thought you will do that. You really deserved 1st place. Huge congratulation on that, with 2 (maybe even 3) randoms. Good luck to you too Joe. It was really nice to race with you this two seasons. Come back asap ;)
Gratz to Piotr, Lukas and Rogerio. Rogerio will be so happy :)
Also congratz to all retainers.

Congrats on your Promotion Rogerio.
Thanks Joe for allowing Rogerio the challenge to go the pro and race.
It's too bad you denied him the cash bonus that you're just flushing down the crapper.
Have Fun Joe racing with some noobs. Maybe you can be the next Jan Roca with a string of easy worthless victories and take more promotion money away from others.
wow Joe, i like racing with you :) you are great manager, good luck! :>

as a person in this group i agree..... that should have gone to someone who would make better use of it.....
Don't care what the rest think, Joe as an adult (according to your picture) i would have expected you too lead the way, not show us the shameful way
Looking at this group now i'm disgusted, people should be congratulating you 4 relegating, not winning the group, the least you could have done was asked for the reset earlier in the season so people saw the R beside your name, warning people at round 11 is worthless.... just like you
Quote ( Dubravko Romanic @ August 20th 2011,14:59:29 )
Rogerio will be so happy :)
Do you really believe that?
Looking at the season Rogerio clearly could have finished alot closer than he did..... It's easy to see he could have contested the group win, but elected not too and build some more (yes ... i know... his choice and all that), but his plans interfered with what?
Joe has created a smokescreen, not that he will care as we say he was not prepared....wah...wah...wah
i'm ashamed of people who think Joe played it the right way...... yes i know it's all morals and ethics.... i guess only some of us have them.....

@Liam: of course Rogerio won't be happy, as he clearly wanted to stay andgo for promo next season.
Well Joe (will) won 1st place, i don't think it was easy. Ofc there can be few questions to ask... - would he risk as much if he continue playing and is going to pro? Or would he smoke/not push so much to save money for pro?
Way to go Stephen and Liam! Attacking an invalid make you feel big and strong huh?
And people wonder why 'Hoodies' have an awful reputation in society!
Seems like everyone else could read 'between the lines' about my present situation regarding both game and RL decisions, shame that you 2 were totally inept about that aspect.
Cheers!

Guys, let's play it down, would we?
If Joe has decided going down, that's a fair choice of him that should not be contested as it's a decision of his own.
As for me, yes, I'm very "happy" (not!) about it, but at the moment, can do nothing about. I did wanted to push for promotion this season, but decided otherwise on a decision taken for the benefit of our team, Rolling Thunder.
So, the new scenario not only screw me as there's no way I can get even top 35 in PRO with my current driver, car and money, but also damaged significanly my team, which somewhat pisses me off (not at Joe specifically, as I said is his decision).
Now I'll have to decide if I go with the flow, on to PRO for a wasted season, or down to Rookie for another wasted season as I'll need to grab and train a new driver. So, counting with the last season and the current one, now I'm condemned to a third in a row wasted season.
But I'll count to 1.000.000 and think what my next move will be.

Rogerio: pro pro pro pro pro pro
You can find great driver in pro that can help you stay. Either way i wish you luck.
@Rogerio.
Maybe "under the circumstances" a admin would allow you to retain your group..
Its a long shot I know, but worth a try i think.
I don´t think Joe has done anything wrong, everyone can do as they like, and i dont care if anyone is ashamed of me;-)
