Why Turkish drivers? (for games)
we are went to Turkish driver for games.

To my understanding, driver nationalities and first and last names are taken from real racing drivers. As there is no international level Turkish drivers and there hasn't historically been either, there is no Turkish drivers in the game. The same is true for a variety of other countries as well, while countries like the UK and Italy have a lot of drivers because of it.
In the end it shouldn't matter though. Drivers should be selected for their characteristics and not their nationality, which is just something added for greater immersion.
Edit: There are actually 9 Turkish drivers on the market right now. They can be found through downloading the driver market and then sorting by nationality. Here's an example: /gb/DriverProfile.asp?ID=89 .

Yeah people too quick to down vote, that's unfair! There is a few race drivers in wiki, GT3, GP2 and Istanbul is a good track to race in sims.
No reason why GPRO cant have a good mix of nationality from countries that don't produce top drivers but I think it will be hard to have authenticity to driver names... unless names are submitted by managers of those nations.

Quote ( Tomek Kiełpiński @ October 25th 2018,08:30:51 ) And about thumbs down? "We are went..." was funny once, maybe twice.
no need to ostracise him, especially from an elite driver, could come across as Elitism pardon the pun.
I wonder do you down thumb...……………………..!!!! !!!!…………..!!!!!! buetiful island and trees?

Who said I thumbed him down? I was just suggesting a possible reason.

Actually, He dont have a nice English, But he push urself and try to learn sth and explore new things. In Turkey we dont have a good education about English, Thats the reason why he cant write well. Everyone making a mistake guys, don't judge him please. But Of course he need to fix something about English :)

I agree with you, If Gpro wants to add some Turkish drivers, We can give a lot of advice about that.

Ahmet, if he would use the google translator, he could learn some english and make our lives easier. Wouldn't he?

2 Ahmets? Holly... I don't think we can handle that :D
George's post on how drivers are named is pretty much accurate to my understanding. The only person that could clarify/explain the process fully is Stefan, who is usually in charge of drivers and TD's database.
