I'm not boasting or anything like that, as I have barely started my GPro career, but really, the elation I felt was almost as good as seeing Jenson win his first race. Almost, but not quite.
I'd set what I thought would be a good strategy, maybe getting a podium, but after my second stop I thought I may have miscalculated my fuel by one or two laps, requiring a third stop. Nervously I counted down the minutes....
MADE IT! with 3% remaining and one lap of worn tyres as well.
Just chuffed, over the moon, still in the black with money, and hoping for more.
If you're still waiting, hang on in there, its worth the wait!

I did the same until till last stop where in my case I didn't put enough fuel in lol
Congrats man, about the best luxury feature so far in this game are those national anthems, big thumbs up from me to whoever thought of that :-)

Agreed, the anthem was special.
Thanks for the encouragement everyone. I've been reading the newby guides, so thanks for everyoen who has written any of those. Luke Frost, as well, who despite me not leaning on him yet, has been a great mentor!
I don't know Jenson, but I will admit to having a tearful moment when he finally won his first race in Hungary./
Edit- I just found out my engine was at 99% too... Very close call!

Congrats Richard.
It is a great thing, getting that first elusive win.
The problem is that you get the bug for winning (I've got the bug, but not the wins!!!)
