RACE 17 congrats to Josh, who wins the first season of the game, having scored points in every round. It was a close run thing though, a win for Rimantas would have seen him take the title on count back of second places, but Christos walked it to win the final race, which meant the table finished with Christos leap-frogging Rimantas to finish in second and thus Josh's 5th place was enough...just!
At the bottom, where the same 4 guys have occupied the same positions since race 4, finished exactly in those positions. Which means Vin will sadly drop into Division Two, though he can at least hope for a better campaign from there. Peter, Seb and Julio will need better seasons for sure if they are to avoid the drop next time around as there will be more relegation spots in season 2.
In Division Two, Vinicio made it six wins in a row to take the title away from Kirsty in the final two races by a margin of just three points. Both had solid seasons, though Kirsty will not promote as she decided to retire from GPRO. George stumbled over the finish line to claim third place and a promotion spot, while Chew's fourth place turns into an additional promotion spot for him owing to Kirsty's retirement. Angel finished the season in fifth place, falling just short of the promotion spots after struggling to make much of an impact since the middle of the season. Kyle ended the season badly after a driver change but still ended up in 6th place, while Paul had a great run to finish just one behind him in 7th.
Eeryone else below will be hoping for better things next season without doubt. Thanks to everyone for "playing" and see you next season.
