The only way we can cancel it is if the temperatures are yoko temps, because that'd be my luck this season

I would say it could be a symbolic and beautiful action from our game community (replace the Russian GP by other random GP).
For the players worried with their season plans... you can see it as a random. It's happening in real life (in all sports with no exception) and the game simulates real life events in motorsport anyway.

This is a game, let's not get this too far, please. Doing that would be disrespectful to many Russian players in our community.
If that's the case, as Rui said above, cancel Saudi Arabia for violating Human Rights, and so on.

Really sad and frustrated for not being able to do anything. Sending a lot of love and courage to all innocent people suffering right now from some kind of war, hopping for more diplomacy and understanding around the world.

With the same pitch, you can say: "let's remove all the tracks in Germany, because they staged 2 world wars!". How do you like this proposal? Like? What the hell?!

Following decisions of Olympic Committee, FIA, FIFA etc., Russian flag and anthem must be banned from GPRO.
Just imagine how it would look if a Russian wins a race and all would have to listen to its anthem when horrible aggression in Ukraine in going on with civilians being killed right when this anthem is playing.
Take a position, GPRO owner!

I don’t think Russian people are necessarily to blame for this, but if President Putin is racing around GPRO then I totally agree…… ban the f*** out of him.

That was a sarcastic metaphor to illustrate the point of how easy it's to tolerate something that's utterly wrong, but is not your business.
My hate is right and justified, and if it's not spread (like was from 2008 Georgia, 2014 - Crimea), eventually you might get forced to it in your country (I really hope no).

It is not justified Aleksey. Not justified towards ordinary Russian people. They are not doing war. Putin is doing war. He's the one you should be hating, but do not mix nearly 300M people with his dementia.

The main 2 reasons why this will not happen and should not happen and is not worth discussing about:
1: Gpro is strongly non-political, taking this action would be a political decision.
2: Removing this race from GPRO would do no damage to Russia, as in it is not like they get paid royalty rights or something and it would hurt GPRO because of the precedent it sets.
Look, I would LOVE if the flag got changed to the Ukrainian flag or something during the race. But since the fictional race in Russia has actually nothing to do with Russia. Doesn't seem like a good idea to ban the thing.
All this Ukraine-Russia talk belongs in that one topic the Admins are ignoring right now. GPRO is not and has never been a bastion of free speech. Example: [Blacklisted] .
... it hurt to say that, I am going to go send another donation to Ukraine right now...
