It's your responsibility as the employer to provide your driver with the proper equipment to perform his work.
EDIT: unless the contract states otherwise, of course. :)

I suspect that was less broken and more not screwed on right in the first place. You need more pre race checks before sending the car out onto the grid.

I just found out that I had a random in Jyllands. On the lap I was supposed to pit anyway. :P

In-lap. The whole point of the post is that the random didn't cost me anything, hence why I didn't notice it until today. :)

Fair enough. I was thinking it would have affected the pit stop time but more likely the impact was on your 'in-lap' time. Did it affect Golf? lol
I've been done in so many times that I don't care anymore. Out-laps forever DM's clear track oil! etc. It's funny now... unless it affects my golf play.

in my case of costed me the race while my driver has blocked my nummer 2 20 times and after the stop i made a rap since he drives his tyres to 0% so is 95% sure i would have got the win butt still happy to get that fasted Laps 2 last laps given me at least back 1M

Why I am suddenly out of the race in between without any technical problem suddenly .I was running in 2nd place and my driver was giving consistent lap times and none of my parts was close to the wear limit .Many of them were new parts .
I have not witnessed such a retirement in my whole career i have faced only start crashes .
Can someone explain me the reason.
Edit - found out from discord chat that it was a high speed puncture which ended my race that's the first time i faced such a thing

Getting the hit on a car part as well as retiring from the race is an extra poke in the eye here and totally unnecessary.
I understand why there are randoms, but do they really have to fuck you in so many ways? Isn't losing $10m in race income enough?
My cursor has hovered over the delete account a few times today. I love this game and spend a lot of time on it, but I'm starting to question whether I want to spend even more time re-doing all my plans because apparently dropping out of the race from 9th place after 85% race distance wasn't enough of a random punishment. If I want to end the season in the same position (car wear, CT etc) as I would have done without the random it's going cost me $22m. A random, $22m. FFS.
A random should be a random retirement or a non-terminal random hit on car wear, not both.

Anyone else want to share an experience that’s happened to them this race so i feel less lonely? …
On for a predicted podium, was a much needed result for a moti boost … AHHH so frustrating
not to mention a DM straight after to rub salt into the wounds :P

Can a random end your race? So far it happened only once to me, but it was a tire puncture, and it only meant a sudden pitstop. But can a random happen that stops the race for a driver and he can't continue?

Unfortunately so. Had a tyre puncture which put me out on the spot in Race 16 (and cost me promotion incidentally)
You would've had your tyre fee waived though which is something I guess :D

It certainly can, it happened to me on race 16. Tyre puncture that ended the race, and ruined a brand new suspension. It all depends on your luck!

A follow-up question - can there be a random involving two drivers? I mean something like the recent Hamilton-Verstappen crash at Silverstone, can something like that happen? Both drivers out of the race, or one out, another one getting damage and extra pit stop?
